I've had this game since 2014 and it's still my go to game. Nothing comes close. If you love 8 bit in all its glory this is THE game to have. Please, please, please make Slayin 2 or add more levels or weapons. A save feature would be great as well. I've reached level 170 and could have kept going but lost my game. Keep up the great work you guys

I'd never think I'd find a retro style action RPG on Google Play for free. This game is very addictive and challenging. The characters are all different and have different attacks and you'll need some strategies to get high scores. I'd be cool if there was a mode where everything was randomized like biomes, music, bosses, etc so the game would be full of surprises and not fighting the same bosses in the same order. Great job

8 bit fans will be pleased with the design of both graphics and game play. Expect to be able to unlock everything reasonable for free. Well done. After the recent update I believe the royal slime achievement was fixed, but I still have to kill hundreds of things with a non-lethal wizard spell? Have you actually tried this?!

I generally don't play any free to play games as you usually hit a pay wall fast and hard, but so far I haven't with this game. Addicting gameplay, cool customization, lots to unlock, this game has kept me occupied on flights and bus rides. Only negative, if you can call it that, is there's nothing I'd even want to spend real life money on. If there was an option to pay for no ads to support the developer I'd consider doing so.

It's quick fun. You don't have to wait for anything to refill, and your progress is determined by your skill rather than your schedule unlike many other Mobile games. It's quite addicting and the gameplay has a certain depth too it any RPG fan could enjoy.

This is a great game! It's fun yet challenging, and has multiple goals to work towards. Only complaint is the ad department. Watching ads are a great way to support the game and earn you a little something as well. However, in this game you need to watch and install the app from the ad. Watching is fine, but I don't want to install other apps from an ad. Remove this, probably reduce the reward for watching, and this would be a 5/5 game!

A neat, skill-based game on Android, that's free without pushing microtransactions in your face every second? What is this devilry?! * I'll have to do the honorable thing and tip the Dev, or something. * P.S. If you ever consider releasing a Steam version, I'll also buy it -- the control scheme you have is decently responsive, but I'd still prefer to play it with a proper controller.

An awesome game with a solid core premise fleshed out with charming visuals and music. Admittedly I find the point values to unlock some of the later characters a tad high, but considering the game is free I can't fault them for encouraging a one-time small purchase.

I normally HATE mobile games, but this one is an exception and a fun experience for a short time. Normally I don't find mobile games to have the most responsive of controls, but this one is great and keeps it simple. The 8-Bit style graphics and sounds are very charming and I really enjoy it. One small issue I have is that I keep accidentally pushing the pause button, but maybe that's cause I have fat fingers lol. Really enjoy this game and keep up the great work!

Plus, none of those annoying waiting mechanics, so keeps grinding a possibilty. Music: Addictive and energetic. Never tries to be dark or intense, but it fits in many regards. Graphics: The intro was GORGEOUS. The 8bit style, even with its character design faults.

This game is one of two mobile games I would actually recommend to people. Microtransactions are entirely optional and do not interfere with gameplay at all. The game actually rewards skill and practice, and the characters offer incredibly diverse playstyles for the seeming rigidity of the mechanics. The game would be best with physical buttons, but touch controls do not negatively impact the experience.

Very fun simplistic controls with surprising amounts of challenge. Fast paced leveling system keeps your momentum going, and the bonus structure feels rewarding. I do not plan on making any micro transactions, but I can imagine spending some time with this game nonetheless.

Don't buy the dragon scale!!! What a ripoff - u buy the dragon scale which says it let's you continue when you die, but then when you die you only get the "option" of continuing... at the cost of all your fame pts (game currency)!! If I wasn't so irritated this would be a 5-star for sure.

The game itself looks absolutely adorable, I am a big fan of pixelized graphics, this game makes me feel at home. It's got utterly simplistic controls, really bare bones, literally three buttons, and two of them are auto hold. You'll find yourself on the edge of your seat, really trying to survive as long as possible. It plays really nice, and each monster kill feels satisfying, all the way from the pixels evaporating to the sounds of the same. Really hits the nail on the head by having unlockables. Amazing

It holds up to its full potential in the name. You do not even have to purchase the micro transactions actually even needed to complete the game and obtain all your goodies,(unless you like doing that to speed up the process of course.) Happy slayin' out there maidens and knights.

This has got to be one of my favorite games in the app store! However, I found a bug where there were no enemies appearing at level 116. Also, sometimes the jump button doesn't work, so that's something... Anyway, amazing game and I hope you keep improving it!

I like it and got new ideas first is new characters 1. The hunter it's a guy with a gun and how he dodges is by shooting the ground and super jumping he is in a green hat with ripped brown shirt and blue pants 2. Skeleton warrior what he does he is the night but a skeleton but here's the catch when you die you get a second chance and you use a bow 3. Last but not least the pirate he has a gun and has a parrot that help him fly for 3 seconds now power ups add power ups I know there's upgrades but add power

I highly recommend this game to anyone in to arcade style games, and anyone who likes games in general! Best free game I have ever played off of the Google play store! Pay to win garbage games take note, this is how you make a free game. The developers are gonna get a max fame points buy as soon as I can for the amazing work.

Well crafted 16-bit sprites and a very enjoyable soundtrack to match. The game is mostly running left and right across a fixed plane defeating enemies. It's simple but effective. Each game is a new one, so dying is the end and you have to start over. This is balanced by very fast-paced gameplay that requires full attention. I was very quickly drawn in. I recommended it to many of my friends, who have in turn recommended it to theirs, and I have heard no complaints so far. This is among my top games.

I won't lie I didn't have high hopes for the game after seeing the first level. But its actually really great, so simple that its easy to learn but is nuanced enough to challenging as you progress. I dig the "not-in-your-face" way of getting a rating and not having ads. Not a whole lot more you can ask for, reminds me of GBA games from my childhood.

I love this game. It almost kept me from switching to android when I found out it was apple exclusive. Thank GOD its here. This game takes the feeling of a good fantasy almost-rpg (in the sense that you gain points to unlock better stuff) perfectly. This game is addictive enough that I play it other than when im on the toilet, that is impresive. But, unless you like the variation, the knight and thief are the only characters that are really worth it. But its a free game. 100% awesome.

I'm really impressed with it. This single game brings back the feel of one of my all time favorite retro gaming eras: the time of mega man classic. I played it all the way through and am thoroughly impressed for the balanced game mechanics and varying levels of challenge offered by quests. Almost zero glitches to boot. It's a hand woven tapestry of excellence.

The music is great, and the fighting is challenging but engaging. It takes time to learn how to play well, but I've only gotten the game today, and I all ready know how to play Archer well. Well, that mostly because I just keep playing it! I've been needing a good action game in my games library... I hope more things are added to this game! This is definitely a must play. I found a bug, though. The quest for defeating the Royal Slime perfectly wasn't working for me while I played Archer. I tried two times, getting the no damage bonus but not completing the quest.

A game of lovely simplicity and originality, I'm amazed that this takes up more of my time than something like Puzzles & Dragons. Only problem I really have is that the menus don't make much sense till you get into it, though I'm willing to overlook that. The art and soundtrack is pretty great as well.

Like all other free games here, there is a pay component you can implement to make the game easier in terms of unlockables. Everything is still doable without paying a cent, you just need more game time. That being said, this is a great game with simple controls but challenging timing. I've only played two characters, but the method each use to attack changes gameplay significantly alongside the different powerups available for purchase (using game credits earned within the game).

Pleased with this game. Some of beginning quests are too hard imo (coming from someone who played through banana kong, another of devs games). Also the time it takes from hitting app icon to actually playing is quite long - lots of opening credits and such. Ads are virtually nonexistent. Gameplay is simple and fun, refreshing.

A very fun game with a variety of unlockables and fun. Not to mention the logo for this game is what I think anyways, an Atari cartridge with a sticker on it. Love it. This games difficulty rises very quickly and yet its so much fun to just jump into that you won't care. If I could give it more stars I would, sadly, I can only give 5. Thanks for the game!

I highly recommend this great game to anybody. Slaying offers countless hours of addictive monster trashing fun with great touch controls (the best game feel I've ever encountered in a mobile game) that are super responsive. The graphics are beautifully made, great pixel art that's well animated. The in-app purchases are super fare, and rest assured everything can be bought with in-game money. There's lots of content to keep you entertained here. What I find disappointing is the lack of variety in music.

This game is simply amazing and exactly what I've been looking for. However, there is one issue that happens where if I turn off my phone with this app open, it freezes my phone upon turning it back on and I need to take out the battery in order to fix it. Fix this issue, and you earn the 5 star rating you deserve. (I am using a Samsung Galaxy Stellar)

This is one of the most amazing mobile games I have ever witnessed. It has the most simple but yet somehow appealing gameplay that just makes you keep playing. Even just to add on to the amazing, it looks, sounds, and plays like an old arcade or Atari game, only with helpful modern features. There is one bug I saw while playing though. If you get a combo of 999 slain, then the next kill you get sets the counter back to zero. It does not lag the game or crash it.Other then that, it is a perfectly formed game

I recomend it to everyone but i did have a few negativities when starting the game up... like how theres only 2 musics to choose from oh come on at least have varity the game is good but the lasting appel doesnt last too long so hey you can still replay this.

I loved this game the second I still started playing it. It is such a good game it's hard to put into words. After playing for a while and upgrading, the intro just goes on loop and never gets to the main menu. I've reinstalled it twice and restarted it multiple times.it must have to do with ads if you put it on airplane mode it stops the issue

This game is really fun, and has good variety with the different players. Even the missions give new ideas of how to play, its just quality all around! My only complaint is there's no way to remove the ads. I even tried purchasing something, no dice.
