Madness at Hobbsgate

Such a great game! I've played every installment a couple times, they're all so well made! I enjoyed the challenges in this one, many of them seemed very logical. I keep playing this one over to see if I can find uses for my unused items but nothing yet. Can't wait for the next one!

This is the shortest one of the whole series, still it is more challenging and honestly, the puzzle were harder. Although the setting makes me confused (since after HoP i think the MC escapes?) Surely i hope they fill the plot hole and mystery in the next game. Overall, this installment brought the same enjoyment as the previous ones.

This is the third (of four total) game I've played in this series and it was pretty good. Much better than the last game Horror in the Pacific --which I did not like much -- but not quite as good as the original Horror in the Darkness. The puzzles were a lot more logical/straightforward than the last game, while still challenging enough that I had to use the hints every once in a while. I also like that the developer is starting to link the stories together which makes things more interesting. The biggest complaint is that there's a lack of lore -- I hope in future episodes the developer fleshes out the monsters, cult, etc. more.

Didn't realise that this was the 4th game in the series. The story was captivating and the game play reminds me of the choose your adventure books that I loved in the 90's. My only suggestion would be to have more "wrong turns" resulting in death, just to keep me on my toes! I will now have to play 1-3 as I am addicted. Thanks for a great game.

The ending was a bit too rushed and anti-climactic (and, spoilers |you leave the asylum without making them pay for their cruelty!!!?| end spoilers). But all and all a fun game. I hope that the series continues in some form!

Finished the game and really enjoyed the experience. I'm 50/50 on finishing it with items still: of course I would find stuff I'd never use but the bracelet, the head, the locked door near the breaker... I'm curious if I could ever 'use' them

Enjoyable as always. Only quibble is that I ended up with some unused equipment. Feel like I may have missed something, or it may have been red herrings. (Or maybe it's better for me to have a detonator than a mad scientist.:)) Edit: Oh, I found out what the detonator is for. Unless there's a GOOD use. :)

With an adequate length and some difficult puzzles, this was a solid entry in the series. The connections to the other books adds for fans whilst incentivising newcomers to read the others. However, increasing the number of scenarios in which death is possible would help in sustaining an air of suspense. (Spoilers below) My main aggrevation with the puzzles stems from Crispy. The inability to use whisky as torch fuel or a makeshift Molotov was an... interesting design choice.

Lovecraft inspired. Not impossible puzzles. Fun story line. I enjoy these games very much. A nice return to simpler games of yore. Take a break from mind numbing super hi def state of the super art latest and greatest shoot em up action spectacular. And return to game play that uses story and your imagination to return too a game platform that once was state of the art. I used to love games like this and still do when done well as this series is. Great job guys keep them coming! !! And if you like mystery and imagination mixed with challenging puzzles and a good story. Then this ones for you!!!

I really liked these games. I'm afraid I did them all in the incorrect order cause it's not very clear which ones comes before the other one, anyway I really really liked them. I'm hoping the next one comes quickly! ( btw, the last one is hobbsgate? See even after completing them I'm not sure... But it would make sense that hobbsgate is the last one available... am I right?)

I loved the game but I am just stuck. I don't know how to get that bill to help me out to open the window. I have tried looking everywhere but it's just not helping.

This is honestly my favorite series of apps and I'm always ecstatic to see another piece of the story has come out. You guys do an amazing job with your works and I will continue to diligently play your games and wait for more, you have my support.

This game doesn't disappoint, as expected from this developer. I have to say, good job on another fantastic game! Will definitely keep following this series and maybe even check out other kinds of games the devs may churn out in the future. An email subscription system within the game for updates and new games would be a nice addition though, much like the option in some Choice of Games CYOA games.

Seemed a bit short, but I think once someone gets rolling through these stories it's perspective. I must have missed a bit cause I had inventory that wasn't used.

Another entertaining entry in the Lovecraftian Horror series! Though I can't seem to talk to the Matron about the secret staircase, I'm stuck there. Please help.

It was a great game and it wasn't super easy, which made it even better. I'm very happy that I decided to download this and play it. It was awesome.

Loved it just like a choose your own adventure but better my only complaint is I wish it was longer can't wait for the next one

WOW....Even I did not played it first I know that this game will not fail my expectations... For half a year since I have played other versions of this game such as horror in the darkness and others now I've finally found another one... Hope that you develop more games like this... text-based but let you feel a 3d surrounding just through reading...
