Disaster House VR (Unreleased)

This intern project shows an innovative use of VR within the insurance world. Although it's generally usable, it's a proof-of-concept and this means there will be bugs.

Some experiences so far:

* It requires a Google Cardboard with magnet, tapping the screen doesn’t work
* The app functions as intended on the Samsung Galaxy S6
* It does not perform well on Samsung Galaxy S3 and below
* It runs on HTC One M7 and M8, but the magnet doesn't work from the side. Instead the magnet needs to be taken out and tapped on the back of the phone.
* In general, only the magnet version of Google Cardboard works. The app does not respond to taps on the screen.

Backstory:

Welcome to the Disaster House!

Make yourself at home but be aware... this house is cursed!

This application is a virtual reality game where the player has to take care of a house for a brief moment of time and try to prevent disasters from happening. Every new disaster adds costs that the player can see on the screen. In the end the player can see the final costs of the disasters.

The purpose of the application is to create awareness of dangers around the house. If you have an insurance the costs of the bills won’t be so high.
