ある学校に通う中学一年生の「牧野 晶子(まきの あきこ)」は仲の良い友人たち３人と共に、ある儀式をおこなう事になる。
それはこの地方に伝わる裏のこっくりさんで、「こっくりさんの墓」と呼ばれる儀式。

軽い気持ちでやってしまったその儀式により、主人公たちはおぞましい恐怖の体験に巻き込まれていく事になる。

それは『死』よりも恐ろしい恐怖・・・
