About TypeIt 2
A game to increase your typing speed. Play the game and trying to beat the high score. Type It! 2 is (still) all about speed and quick fingers. It challenges (and hopefully improves) your texting abilities. Compared to the previous version you can now play with your own keyboard. Test if you can type faster with Swype, SwiftKey or if the stock keyboard is still the best.
You have to touch and type as fast as you can to see if you can beat all levels. Your task is to type appearing words as fast as possible to score and collect all achievements. The faster you can handle the keyboard the more points you get. By playing this game you can improve your dexterity and reduce the number of errors while writing mails, texting SMS, and surfing the web. Try to be the fastest guy in the high score to see if you can compete with other players. It uses the standard Android 2.2 soft keyboard.
The game can be used as a training or tutor for typing words using the soft keyboard. It's a training game that should be real fun. Your texting speed and accuracy improves while playing and practicing.
This free game is part of our research about the touch performance on mobile devices and also part of my work as a PhD student. While users play the game we measure where they hit the screen and how fast they are. By combining this information with the position of the keyboard we can estimate how users touch each key. Based on this data we are hopefully able to predict user’s performance with different keys and character sequences. We plan to derive an according (probably personalized) model or tutorial. This model could possibly be used to improve the virtual keyboards of current smartphones. Thus, the game is fun and science at the same time. Check out the about screen to learn more.

Works, should be able to keep typing, without hitting space after every word. Fun and easy to learn, could have one extra mode to keep your interest, and I'm confused by the high score system. Unless you need a full membership or something.

when i logged on to the game it shows the main page where it says play and settings etc. and when i click on play it shows me the instructions and nothing happens no words come out for me to spell

This is bad cause I tap the letters and it doesn't work. The people how made this should FIX IT NOW! If they FIX IT I'll give them five stars. I expected something like a tutorial to teach me how to type faster. This just measures the speed and ends the game when you make mistakes, so not much improvement. It's also not fun enough to be a game on its own.

The app itself is awesome. The main issue I have with it, however, is the inability to be able to use it in landscape mode. Other than that, the app itself works and plays great. I'm not entirely sure if this is only true with playing on the Atrix 2 or not. I will definitely edit with 5 stars though if landscape mode becomes a reality.

Wish could use own keyboard one handed or two (horizontal). Wish it had more complex games. Still i like it. Wish it would have long term development tracking showing both vertical and horixontal progress over time.
