1943 Air Strike

Please get rid of the enemy shots that come from behind. It's very hard to see these shots because your finger is blocking the screen because your finger is how you move your plane around. Other than this issue pretty cool. Very frustrating to get blown up by something you can't see though.

I've seen 'em on the telly. All those old geezers banging on about Pearl Harbour and the Battle of Britain. Give it a rest, Grandad. It's not that hard. Jeez! This has a nostalgic feel to it, which is nice. But for a really classy version try Sky Force 2014.

Great time killer but wish it had more options for special weapons or different flying maneuvers. Seems like the levels are all the same, no big fight to move to the next level makes it get boring.

Suggest bosses at end of levels and stepping up the skill level as you get higher. Come level 31 I kamakazied my planes as I lost interest and felt I was mearly going through the motions. By level 31 I should be terrified and alert not casually sleep. Nice start love to see the updated game.

This game is no good if you have got big fingers or fatty ones as you can't see the plane you are flying as your finger covers it up. This game is designed for people with nimble fingers who can see what they are doing with the plane. I am sending my plane and the game back to the hanger where it belongs because it doesn't belong on my phone.

Good game but not a great game. After about level 5 it's the same thing, side gun boost followed by big plane. Needs boss fights every 10 or 15 levels and variety. Good otherwise.

Looks good and plays smoothly. Okay for 5 minutes of nostalgia but every level is identical. By level 3 you are scoring 100% every time.

It's fun for 10 minutes but every stage is exactly the same. No change of scenery or challenge.

After level 3 the game is the same level over and over. Same power up, and if you already have it, nothing new. Same wave of planes in the same pattern. My recommendation: Download once, play a couple times for some nostalgia, and uninstall. Good night!

Ads on screen, makes you lose control when your finger swipes in the bottom of the screen...aggravating

It is not the same as the original arcade game. The stages become manotanous. The game slows down to a snails pace while playing then speeds up and slows down again. Not impressed.

No bosses, and seems like same board over and over.

Made a game exactly like this at school around 10 years ago, literally exact same graphics, same sprites, islands, backdrop and planes, even the bullets, literally just someone trying to get money from nothing

Needs more levels after the first three levels it just repeats the same level over and over very boring

Still is we have the arcade game still in the place I live. It's a little arcade.

I have the highest score on this game of about 100000 this is so fun I can't get enough of it

This game is very much like 1942 on SNES back in the early 1990s. Unlike the original, it automatically fires, so you don't cramp your finger holding down the fire button. That's good. However, the original had boss fights. This game has no bosses. I played past level 20 without any bosses. It really needs a boss level every 10 levels or so. Without bosses, it gets a bit monotonous.

Just replays the same sequence over and over. Also not very difficult. Got to level 20 getting 100% on each level. I then gave up and removed the game.
