Redcon is a rare gem to be found among the mobile games that these days like to hold your hand through the game. Redcon is super challenging and has levels that make you think outside the box and force you to adapt. You can customize your fortress with many different weapons from traditional cannons to emp and laser weapons. The visuals of this game are also a sight to behold with stunning particle effects and explosions. This is definitely a game to get.

Amazing game, one of the best I've ever played on a tablet. Everything is really well done and this game is super fun if you like strategy. My only complaint was that it was too hard at times, specifically with regards to having to purchase weapons in order to use them. This meant that later in the game you may have spent too much money on a no longer viable strategy, but were unable to buy new weapons to try something else. Now that the developer Hexage listened to users and created an EASY mode that does away with money, this game is perfect. Props to you Hexage, I am eagerly awaiting your next game!

Developers listen to the users, which is always great. Great gameplay, really novel idea. With the new update, it is much more relaxed and fun. EDIT: with the most recent update, you have taken away the shield generator utility. Because the game updates the weapons and utilities in normal mode, the shield generator has updated, becoming the version you must purchase the 2 star game for, meaning after a certain level, you can no longer use the shield

and the only I've written a review for. The story is actually compelling, the gameplay is fair but tough as nails later on. There's real tactics involved, and the game will punish you for having the wrong base layout. My only complaint is lack of co-op or versus modes, which I hope will be added in time. In my opinion, it is definitely worth the price of the full version. It fully deserves 5 stars.

I did not pay for full version, but I finished all the allowed progress. If I would pay for full version and ever finish entire progress, I can't think of any reason to play it again. MY SUGGESTION is that you should create other features or modes of game other than a scenario. I really enjoyed the game so far. And, I think I will buy the full version because I really want to finish the campaign...EDIT: I bought full version, and I found the campaign long enough. I'm on 65%, and Iove it.

by K####:

If you go to layout, those are dlc that include the full game and there are no other layouts other than the ones that you purchase which are Over Powered. I when you buy the full game you get all the missions and extra stuff. You need more slots for the first layout if you aren't going to get anymore and the devs of Redmon need to make it to where you have more than 4 soldiers.

Hexage is just about the only company that I would spend money on. Their games are well thought out and challenging. A lot of people complain about the difficulty but I didn't find the game frustratingly hard at all. I think it's balanced and once you nail down a good strategy, it should carry you through. A definite recommendation for those who want a high quality game.

This game has to be one of the best strategy games on Android. The game is superb in strategy as it makes you think which targets to shoot first and where to move your men to evade incoming shots. There's also airships that you can use to invade enemy strongholds which is pretty awesome :D. Missions seem to be very challenging but doable and content is plentiful. Would be great if they added multiplayer so fun never ends! Keep up the work devs! (Seems like devs nerfed the AI! Nice job!)

by K####:

I really enjoyed this game and the way i acctually felt like a artilllery commander! Some levels were hard but i did them. Also by the way can you change the looks of the soldiers please? I just get sad just seeing a small cute soldier who just gets demolished by a shredder bomb. Just make the soldiers look less cute. But anyway its a good game!

I really like the concept of the game, nice graphics, cool gameplay and I like challenges(Bring it On!!!) Definitely worth the purchase...question: can I battle the previous levels? I hope you can, cause so far I can't see the option to do that. I'm in level 10. If it don't please add a feature like that. plus it adds replayability which is great.

K70%
by K####:

The game is fun and well balanced at first, but quickly turns into an impossible to play shitstorm of enemies who are hilariously more powerful than you. Like all of Hexage's games, this is totally unplayable past the first couple levels. If you arent immediately dominating the AI you've lost. Don't get me wrong it's a good game, it just really needs more development. I'd suggest playing the first couple levels as those are the only levels that didn't make me want to throw my phone through a wall

PLEASE add a way to make money other then beating levels. It got to a point in the campaign where I can't progress because I can't fluidly change my equipment as needed. My guns worked very well on the last fort but the new one I really need a new load out but without the cash I can't do anything at all. But I can't earn any without winning. I am stuck in a losing loop.

Just like most great games that actually offer a challenge, players lacking skill or brains will complain. Reading thru other comments about it being "too hard" or others saying "im not a super computer". Read what the rooms do, thats your tutorial. Cant react fast enough? Thats why you can pause and issue commands while its paused. Amazing game. Easy mode is just fine. Normal is more of a satisfaction though.

K70%
by K####:

Too hard and even the nuke is useless. The enemy minions just repair everything in a minute. The nuke should end the level allowing us to move on instead of taking out 3 or 4 rooms. Never downloading again even though I paid for it. Like everyone else I get stuck 33% of the way through.

I want my money back, bought the 6 euro premium version and it sayd I take everything to some certain levels and not right now. If you are selling something at least get the details from the start not after someone's buys it. Unacceptable it's not about the 6 freaking euro's but I want them back.

You pretty much have to purchase a bundle or else you are screwed why make it Free and have to Pay to play Plus it. Shows you these cool towers and you get a super tiny one but im not far in keep playing mabye my opinion will change

Hexage has put out some fun titles, but this is the best yet. Just complex enough, challenging enough, and rewarding enough to keep you coming back. The artwork is unique... think Otomo Katshiro's CANNON FODDER (Memories, 1995). So please, Hexage- include more artwork. It's a major part of what sets your games apart from other, similar titles. But seeing the same three or four NPC images over and over makes the design feel somewhat compromised by deadlines. More artwork, please!

Challenging for some? Yes. A lot to micromanage, loads of customization great game. I've beaten the game several different ways each fun and unique. It would be cool if they could post user created bases to play against to extend even more play time

This is by far one of the most frustrating games I have played in a long time. It is also one of the most gorgeous, well-made ganes I have played in a long time. Knowing that there is a 'way' to beat every level keeps you playing over and over again just for the satisfaction of beating the game, even though it means losing hundreds of times. This isn't exactly a puzzle game, but involves a lot of timing, strategy and most of all, perseverance. I highly recommend this game.

Is very good made. Nice graphics, nice gameplay, challenging. Everything you want from a strategy game. I finished it over and over again and still playing, normal, easy, very competitive game. I love it. But, i want more, i payd for the full game so please make an update, more lvl's, make an upgrade system for the guns and tower with points that you gather and upgrade.. you know better than me. Thank you for the game.. and we are all going to enjoy an update.

This game is a rare gem, it's hard to find a game this good, i don't even know how to comment it, it's pure fun if u ask me, the full premium version is well worth it, i wonder why the rating is low.. to those that feels this game is not their type, please dont rate it badly or dont rate it at all.. and lastly, it would be epic if there is pvp in the future..

Brilliant game where you have to think tactically and plan ahead, still haven't completed the game but it's brilliant. The game isn't easy and progressively gets harder as you go on making you learn on you're feet which fits into the story. Definitely recommend and love the game. I did spend £5 on the highest teir microtransaction as the games worth it and has kept me entertained for countless hours.

Its a very good game with loads of levels and a good storyline. Trouble is the last end game is just too hard ! The lastest update has changed the balance and it just cant be done ! .. also no way to sell weapons to recoup the money .. so if you choose the wrong tech tree .. you are screwed !

K70%
by K####:

While the game is pretty tough, I enjoyed it to the last mission. I managed to finish it on easy mode and it was totally worth it. There is nothing better in the morning than the sound of fresh shells pulverizing your foe into oblivion :)) My word of advice, try to save your nukes for the really hard levels, like the ones where you must play with a premade fortress. Bought the game and didn't stop until I completed it. Also, the story is a great irony to the real political power games nowadays. Hands down, Hexage. Your best game so far. Except maybe Reaper. Definitely worth 5 stars, or even more. Keep the good games coming, guys

Developers have done a lot of hard work to make a game like this in which gameplay, artwork and mech works very well. The player has to put all his/her might to win. That's why some guys felt this game a bit difficult to win.

K70%
by K####:

The story was well thought out. The graphics are amazing. The game play is awesome. It is a challenging game, this is not, I repeat NOT, for those who don't like a challenge. The only thing I have to complain about is that I beat it and want the story to continue. Hexage you must make a sequel!

I like it because it attacks enemies U cqn upgrade it but I have only 1 problem at Redcon when I want to change some space it doesn't work I don't know why it does't work but I think its only for Computer its premium too

K70%
by K####:

I thought the game was a one-time fee would be pretty good because you weren't asking for money all the time but this game is worse than all of them you need to actually put something into where you can actually get some more money from me so I can actually beat the game. So save your money don't put any money towards this game it will get you nowhere faster than free

Yes, I found the game a little tough at the beginning , but later every thing came under my control. Overall the game is highly stratagic and is loaded with great fun. Its a good time killer too. Its graphics seem a little bit cartoon type, But I like it.

K70%
by K####:

On easy it's ridiculous. On normal it's unplayable. I made it 7 levels and then no matter what I tried, I could not beat another level. I even bought it because I liked the concept so much. It's a lot like FTL. Which I love. But this is insane. I want my money and 3 hours of my life back.

This game is one of the best games I've played for mobile and i bought the full game but even on easy unfortunately it's far too difficult. The games graphics and animation are solid and I love the fire mechanic but some missions your out gunned, thier defence is impenetrable or the missions where your given a set layout the computer destroys you AND the last mission is impossible! I've tried every combination and I get destroyed every time.

K70%
by K####:

If only you add replay level xx, that would be great. Weird thing is.. like the enemy can still see where the shrapnel headed even after radar destroyed. That.. would be cheating right?

K70%
by K####:

Have bought it, played it, loved it. Sadly i have finished the levels, but it's worth playing again. I desperately await for a sequel, or at least updates. Keep going man, u'll make ur million dollars soon enough. Just remember to make good games, not sell out.

K70%
by K####:

Things have gotten significantly harder with one of the past update, and I'm pretty sure the percentages don't mean crap. I must be extremely unlucky to have a 95% hit rate, and hit 0 of 10 shots or it's just garbage. Game is now crap.

K70%
by K####:

Let me first point out that I don't like the marketing. This is a demo, not a free game. However, it's a great game, and very much worth the full package IAP. It's uniquely strategic, and has content enough for a PC game, not merely adequate for Android. It's very long and rather difficult even with the purchase, but there are so many ways to approach things that failure doesn't get tedious. It also has a rather sly sense of humor, which is appreciated given the otherwise rather heavy subject matter.

K70%
by K####:

Good game, being a red legger myself artillery always has a place in my heart. I liked the moral aspect in the game as well. Plus overall difficulty was good to great. Need to put together the right combination of weapons and use proper tactics to ensure victory. Sadly this just didn't win me over enough to buy the full version. Close but I don't think there is enough replay ability to justify the purchase. Still a great game though.

K70%
by K####:

I don't get exp anymore. I did all the hard work but I can't play any more. At least add a ability to mod shells and guns. Then I could atleast have a chance. Also my medals only effect the game that I win them in. It would be nice to have my medal bonuses even if I reset campaign. Also permanent creds to use in multiplayer battles where we could use the permanent creds to buy layouts and guns for multiplayer.

This game is basically FTL on the ground... I bought this game immediately because Hexage usually makes good games. It's fun and engaging... until the later levels. Do yourself a favor and ONLY pick easy. This game will whip your @$$ later on in the easiest difficulty. Makes me wonder if Hexage even has independent game testers... The music from Kubatko is great though!

K70%
by K####:

Most of the complaints regarding this game talk about how difficult or impassable the game is. The game is indeed very challenging and requires a load of thought and strategy to complete but it is far from impossible. It is a perfect strategy and worth the full price. It should not be played as a time-waster as even one single match can extend up to an hour when you progress deep into the story, hence it has tens of hours of gameplay. A low bow to Hexage, I expect more great updates and games from you.

V70%
by V####:

1) Generally a fun DEMO with some depth. Picking when to disable the enemy and which rooms to target really makes the game feel like a true strategy game. Not a game for people looking for something easy that plays itself. 2) You build your own base after you reach level 2 for those who wonder what's going on when they first play. 3) The permission requirements are not that intrusive.
