Bits Serf - Back to the Basics

Noticed this project is still being worked on but nothing for a year? Great promise but I can only get to see the map stage. . Is there a rough completion date? Normally games get added that's playable. It's a shame this one is still waiting. 2 stars until playable.

Finding this little gem of a game had me very excited. I spent a long time playing this when I was younger. Shame that it still not up and running yet even though it seams to of been developing for sometime now. Will try again in the near future

Out two years and still in unplayable alpha? Just take it down already. It's not getting finished.

Is this game still in production? It looks great and would love to see it finished, also have you tried a kickstarter page? It may help with any funding you might need.

Was very excited to see it - I've no doubt it'll deserve a better rating when its playable, but there really isn't anything to rate at present.

I still play the original on my PC so definitely keeping an eye on this beauty. In my opinion the original is the best in the series. Its looking very good so far. I hate these new games generated by facebook etc. Spend money or take an age to get anywhere. NO, let me just play the whole game my way. Be that me on my own just having fun or having all the enemies on easy so I can wip there behinds. My rules my way. All the best with the future development. Can't wait to play it on my mobile. I love this ORIGINAL game, but this port is not working? Where is my home castle? Or, how can I add my home castle to start the game? I can't start playing...

No update in over a year. Website has not been updated since April 2015. Unfortunately I am beginning to think this will never see the light of day.

Iv been watching this for well over a year do you have a finish date in mind yet?

I play this on Amiga 520 when I was 13, now I have 28 :) l am so proud of you cuz you bring old memories and felling to us.. keep up a good work!

Is it almost complete? I understand building the game and having a personal life but for real this is my childhood.

Still not finished but will be great when its ready to go. Spent so long playing this back in the day.

but then I saw that the current version date is o over one year old.. is the development still ongoing or did it get to a hold at some point considering the developer's time constraints?

Just wish I could play this game. Instead got my hopes up and was crushed to find it was not playable. Plz finish this game so I can start on my life's work in-game

...... Loved this on the Amiga...... Waiting hopefully..... Please don't ruin it with in app purchases or at least make two options... One to buy the full game and another for in app purchases or removal of adverts etc. I look forward to some positive development and maybe a sneek peek of what's coming... Hopefully.... Waiting..... ;]

It'll be great when it's finished. One of the great attractions of the original Amiga game was the bug that allowed you to hijack a path on the other side of a border, so that personnel could pass freely between states. Unfortunately, that was fixed from Settlers II onwards.

I see the reviews from 6 months ago saying it will be playable soon, but is it still being worked on? I loved the original game and hope this project will come to fruition. Will update my review once it's playable.

The original settlers is my most favourite game ever! I've just downloaded this app and I'm excited to give it a try. I will update my review later :-)

I loved the original of this game, can't wait for this to be completed it's looking good already although when I tried watching the intro on my phone it's black & white and incredibly blurry :(

Can't wait to play...I spent countless hours playing this as kid and can't wait to play it again. Hope you are still hard at work lol.

Real nostalgia

Hi do you know when its gonna be ready to play any date?

I think settlers 1 or 2 is perfect for tablets. Settlers 3 and up are too complex for touch controls . But 1 and 2 are perfect! Keep going buddy, good work so far, I'm sick of the other city builder games on the market. They are not even games, you just have to wait a long time or pay to win, I'm sick of it! These other developers are getting shown up by games 15 years+ older. We need a real game like settlers! Keep it up!

I do not understand why you put the game on the android market in pre alpha. Very fond memories but reading half year old reviews seemingly on the same dev status make me wonder if you'll ever get this out of pre alpha. No insult intended! I'd love to see the game implemented. If you lack money/time, why not shoot up a kickstarter campaign? Cheers!!
