About Educational Game for Children
GCompris is a high quality educational software suite comprising of numerous activities for children aged 2 to 10.
Some of the activities are game orientated, but nonetheless still educational.
Below you can find a list of categories with some of the activities available in that category.

GCompris is fully translated in Ukrainian, Swedish, Portuguese, Polish, French, Dutch, Chinese Simplified, Brazilian Portuguese, Norwegian Nynorsk, Italian, Catalan, British English.
It is partially translated in Spanish, Slovak, Finnish, German, Slovenian, Hungarian, Scottish Gaelic, Russian, Lithuanian, Greek, Galician, Latvian, Danish, Breton, Tamil, Thai, Chinese Traditional, Bulgarian.

If you set up a restricted profile then the applicaiton seems to hang if you run it in that restricted profile for the first time. You need to run it in a non-restricted profile. However, if you purchase the full version then it does not seem to work in the restricted profile at all, only the main profile. This really needs to work better with restricted profiles. Please fix this. UPDATE: Bruno offered a workaround and is looking into the problem. Brilliant support.. and my daughter loves this app! She has it on her Ubuntu laptop too.

The issue I'm having is on my son's nook HD. It works fine on my galaxy tab 4 7". I'm emailing you a better description to the address you listed for the other reviewers. I will definitely buy to get everything when this is fixed.

Looks promising, but for me crashes after around half a second on a Kobo Arc.

Found a number of elements don't render correctly. For example both color mixing games the tube are all mangled. Download status bar is miss aligned. Galaxy tab. Love this on Linux and glad to see it on mobile.

Brilliant! Kids used and loved it on PC and now it's mobile:-) For children in Scottish Gaelic medium it is a great homework/play tie in. Thanks to Bruno and the team.

Thanks for porting this to Android! I have had this on my son's openSuSE laptop for a while now and he loves it. The activities are all worthwhile and educational. No fluff or advertising masquerading as education.

Works great with a touch interface. All children will love and be educated by this :-). The price is fair for such a comprehensive set of games and there is plenty of fun to be had just playing and learning with the free ones. Thanks for all your efforts.

Overpriced for a first release, the high price puts off trying the new app. There is no way to tell which activities are unlocked, and layouts are broken on some.
