Tournament Poker Coach for Android
I wish the hands would be played out!
This app is a clone of the Instapoker app. It seems very dishonest.
Great format, great way to improve my poker game and win more money.
Wish the tutorials were a tad bit longer or that there were links to more in depth lessons
I only hope there was such an app when i first started. I especially love the detailed explanation they provide for the course of action that is best to make in that spot. I even learn somethings myself even tho im not necessarily too much of a beginner. This is geared for people who are about to play online on microstakes. Its great standard poker theory training, with awesome explanations. Im awed by the explanations tbh very detailed 5 stars. Best app for a beginner player
You should be able to purchase additional training packs with earned coins as they implied... The 1st and only initial pack earns max of 45 coins, costs 163 to purchase the bonus pack and cash for all others. I'd likely give 5 stars if this changes
Green Pea...have my own thoughts that were a bit different than the orders in 1st trng pk. Will likely chk rating as play advances.
As someone that's brand new to poker there are still things that are waaayyy over my head. Like pot odds. Went through a whole thing about it. Still don't know what it is
A really great app for improving your poker skills. However it has some drawbacks I'd like to tell the developer about. There are too little free packs that you can buy for gained pro coins, if you added some such packs, it would be really motivating for the users. Thanks in advance
This app is mostly meant for poeple with money to blow on games they like or those who are serious about making this into a profitable venture. If you fit into this category stop reading and get this app NOW!!! This app is very good at teaching you how to play poker, but the reward system sucks since you can only buy training packs they allow you to get with the coins you earn and atm that is only one and even that one would require you to buy 2-3 packs to get. All the packs except for that one cost money.
A very well put together learning tool. The use of packets enhances the learning curve since you can get in where ever your experience fits. For the beginner, a lot of poker jargon which needs to be learned. Over all, an excellent program
The UI is well-designed and the lessons are thoughtful, but the app is a (very) brief trial with all other modules pay-only. The problem is that the app claims you can redeem in-game tokens for new modules, and while that's technically true, the only available module gives you less than half the tokens needed for a new one.
This is great for those who would likely to play poker and make money. It will show yu some of the better ways to play certain situations. Only downfall is how yy only get 1 free hand pack. Overall though it is two thumbs up!
Very well thought out examples, relevant situations that frequently occur in games are presented and explained in a very intuitive fasion. This is a great way to think about common situations and improve your game. The add ons are kind of expensive for 15 to 20 hands of instruction but there is a very nice feature that allows you to replay random examples from all of the packs that you purchase. I have gotten a great deal of use out of this application.
I dunno, I suppose the pros have an elaborate betting system. I believe it's about confusing a person and keep 'em on their toes by mixing it up with the betting. Lying and trickery-deceit. Get in a players head and tap n2 their emotions; but ina sportsmen type of manner.... Just when one thinks they've gotcha figured, blame,"Royal".
Fast and clean interface with a free handpack to start. Other packs are 2.99 but worth it. Advice is very detailed and solid and better than most books. Only complaint is the content needs better editing. Many grammar mistakes and seems sloppy. Excellent tool for training
App has a lot of potential but unfortunately they didnt think it thru very well. Instead of giving 1 simple free pack, they should of given a few more and then charge for other packs, another ideal is a few free packs and the some they can easily earn with tokens but charge a small fee .25 cents 3/4 of the way thru so youd have to pay to finish the pack.. more money would be made that way and the broke people like me can still play this "could be" awesome app
Nothing in life worth having is free right? Well... that's what ads are for. Maybe I'm just cheap. I mean if i were to use what i learned here to actually make money, then yeah it's well worth it, but i just wanna play better to win fake chips on Internet Poker games. Oh well, seems like a solid app, just not worth paying for. For me anyway. Enjoy
But in third training it makes me put all-in after the river card and I have nothing against QQQ and it says I won.. Ok
I play a lot of successful poker, downloaded this app to see what it would tell me, and some of the scenarios it tells you to play a hand way out of perspective... I would never play some of the hands it shows in a live environment... It'll cost you more money listening to this app then it will help you make
As already mentioned you win coins to expand. But they only count towards one available bonus pack. Then the coins are useless. Cost to play the individual packs is 2.99 to 8.99, close to $40 in the end, for less than 150 hands. If you have money to blow and play higher stakes poker, the tutorial is excellent and a small percentage of a real pot. But you could also buy a couple excellent poker books with far more info and insight for the same price.
If you want to spend a lot of money to get good at poker and you're already familiar with most of the terminology, this is for you. As it sits, it comes with one set of 5 static scenarios. You can earn 45 coins here fairly easy. The problem is the ONLY thing you can buy with coins cost over 3x this. That means you have to buy at least 2-3 packs to get it. Even then, all the other packs cost money, no other option. So if you want all this has to offer, you have to spend $3-5 per pack, coins pointless.
With only one free hand pack, it's hard to adequately rate the app, as it's the packs that determine how much one learns. That said, the implementation and tiered advice are definitely helpful.
I play the occasional poker game with my friends, and the tips I got from this app make me a better hold 'em player. The app does a really good job of teaching why you should do something in a certain situation, rather than just telling you what to do. I think of each extra pack as an investment - I know it'll help me win back way more than I spent on it!
While I did not agree with all decisions in the starter pack, it is giving sound advice and I can see where it will help in my betting decisions.
Good for a few things but can't do more 1 hand each of the same exact hands over and over without spending money for each pack.
i would NEVER EVER play how this trys to teach you wtf?Has me going all in with 5-3 on a draw and has me folding an over pair to a re-raise wtf
You should be able to purchase additional training packs with earned coins as they implied... The 1st and only initial pack earns max of 45 coins, costs 163 to purchase the bonus pack and cash for all others. I'd likely give 5 stars if this changes
Too bad it's not all free
Green Pea...have my own thoughts that were a bit different than the orders in 1st trng pk. Will likely chk rating as play advances.
Game constantly bugs out. Loop restarts packs. Can read moves wrong, bet but game said you checked. Also free is a joke. You get 5 hands as a demo and nothing else. Expect to pay at least 2.99 or more
I really don't like the idea of having to buy multiple packs, but if this info is valuable enough, I'm sure someone will pay for it.
This is a great app for a novice that wants to break away from "timid" game style and predictable game presence at the table. Practice makes perfect.
After years of playing hold em, I now understand why I don't have success if we get to the river. I have a lot to learn. This is a great tutorial for hold em.
This app has showm me strategies for playing hands with disciplinr rather than just gut feeling.
The basis of the app is strong, the teaching aspect is very decent. Unfortunately u only get 5 free practice hands then you have to pay as you go.
If you want to experience the whole game, be prepared to spend at least $30 for a sub par design.
Really good to improve your game, teach you how to act in pre and post flop situations giving detailed information about the right play
I enjoy the tiered suggestions, worst, fair, best. I think the rationales are insightful and detailed.

It's cool but free content is limited and non free content is ridiculously expensive. It's just not worth it at those prices
