BombSquad VR for Cardboard for Android
A full VR experience! Unlike those half baked vr apps on the market, this is the full game with controller support. Even more enjoyable than the original as you feel much closer to the action. Only down point was the lack of ability to connect with Google Play games and sync accounts. Although the code generator worked for syncing ... I don't want to use up all my account codes.
Please fix VR 1 side goes big than small ruining the experience I paid for this game and if not fixed would like a refund thank you please respond
I got a blue tooth controler, no matter what I do it won't lauch the game. I even tried to lauch it manually by pushing play and all it does is recenter.
Please could I get a refund as I paid for it it and now it tells me that my Samsung z7 is not compatible
Performance is exceptional on my Nexus 6P. It is a full-fledged VR game for cardboard and has great gameplay. I play with a cheap matricom controller of Amazon.
It is not as great as before. Please fix.
Cant play app. Please give mye a refund
Awesome VR version of an already awesome game
Refund
I've always loved this game and seeing it in 3d makes it even better however my only complaint is that the screen eventually starts drifting slowly. It's slow enough to keep playing but I do have to reset the view every once in a while. Still VERY worth the money.
It freezes when I open app and I can do anything may I get a fefund please i really need my money back because I don't have much money
Looks amazing!
The game looks like it's bulging out, and it distorts when tilting your head, like stretching a denigrated latex balloon. Only in certain orientation or menus you can see the game like it's supposed to for a brief moment.
I need help. Both screens are jumpy in my Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 601KL. Also, I can't play it well on the VR Box 2.0 remote. Do you have a guide how to setup the remote? Thanks
Cant play though because the left side of my screen keeps jumping. No idea why.
A fun game. Using phone as a controller is a very good idea but adding bluetooth controller support will be a much needed addition. I had problem after linking my local VR account to regular BombSquad as pro was still locked but Eric fixed the bug in minutes after shooting him an email!
Okey, so I have an idea. Why dont you use the camera for drift handling? Some head sets have a hole for camera, so you could watch the head movement as the camera image moves. The camera (sw) chooses some reference point (furniture or something) and calculate the movement from this point. That could be used partially for moving in space (like Vive) and definitely could eliminate the drift... What do you think?
Galaxy s5 drift is too much
Hurys my eyes because the lag
Loved the game on OUYA (RIP) and now phone Android. The VR version hasn't unlocked pro version of regular Bombsquad as advertised. No info anywhere on how to do this. Tried reinstalling each one at a time. Still long annoying ads. Already paid twice for OUYA, then VR Android. Please help. Luke. GNote3.
I'm using a Moga controller, a Shinecon VR and a Nexus 6 to play this. It's great, but the gameplay keeps drifting to the right on my phone. How do I re-center the game so I don't have to keep turning to the right?
There doesn't seem to be many VR games right now but this one is very fun. If you like the normal bomb squad game you'll like this one. I'm using a Shinecon VR headset with an LG G4 and Nyko Play Pad Pro. Yes it does drift but thankfully you can assign a orientation reset button, which works.
But if that's fixed is by FAR the best VR game on the market, no question. Just get rid of the token system.
Atrocious drift on my S5. Within like fifteen seconds it has drifted 90 degrees from where you're looking. Needs to be recentered constantly. Despite that, giving it four stars because it's polished and great fun.
Love it! Should really have more downloads.
The game effects and gamePlay look great, it's just glitchy tracking. Any micro movement sends the screen way off of center in a jittery manor. I'm experiencing constant jumps when I try to manually recenter. Even a slight movement while putting the phone back in the VR goggles after doing orientation reset will put it off. As we are seeing more VR apps being developed and coming into market, I think it should be mandatory for most VR apps to have a drift correction and mode for lying down as standard.
Hate it. Want my money back!
Updating this to use the new cardboard sdk and unity plugin should fix the tracking and improve smoothness. Bought it as I want to encourage high quality cardboard games
The graphics is good, I enjoy it
I've played bombsquad on the ouya, pc, and now VR. I have nothing but positive things to say about the game and Eric. Still fun as hell after all this time.
I cant connect my tablet to play on it.
I love this game, especially this VR version, and I've been playing it arguably the most out of all the VR games I have on my phone. That being said, recently the game has developed an issue that is making it unplayable. During gameplay I will be facing one direction (for example's sake, let's say north) and suddenly the area of focus jumps away from me to another direction (south, east, west, etc.). This seems to happen a lot at random, sometimes it happens when I make a sudden movement, sometimes it happens when I'm not moving at all. It's become too annoying to continue playing because I can't keep adjusting and spinning in a circle to chase the action. The game is currently unplayable and I don't know what to do!! Please help!
Same game... But BETTER!!!
It's like bomber man meets smash bros... fun as hell. I have one request and two issues: #1- Dift. Please add a calibration tool. #2 - Allow the Y axis to be reset with the magnet switch. I want to be able to play in bed while looking up. I'd expect to be able to recenter the screen with the magnet switch, but that only resents the direction, not the height, so I can't play looking up. Request: Add some sort of online multiplayer against other random payers.
Best VR game that I have played to date. Great sound design and the gameplay is very polished and fluid (on my LG G2). I have a Tronsmart G01 wifi controller and the game takes full advantage of it. Funny and charming this game takes the cake and is definitely worth purchasing.

I dont even write reviews in most cases, but this app has gone above and beyond to become what is in my opinion, the best google cardboard app to date, and i have tried every single vr app, paid or free that i have come across so far. If you have a controller and a vr headset, i cant recommend this app enough
Eric, I bought this sight-unseen because your father taught me in dental school. I had no idea it would be such an impressive app! Great job, I'll keep an out for anything else you release.
One of the best android games now in VR! If you own a VR viewer, buy this game! If not, buy or build a VR viewer, then buy this game! It does have some minor drifting issues on my galaxy s4, but not bad if I play in a swivel chair.
