Forgotten Hill: Puppeteer

All the clues are there, you just have to be observant. The puzzles were well thought-out and worked well. Good storyline, if rather dark. The ads were somewhat annoying as they popped up at inconvenient times, but the game is free, so can't complain too much about that. Worth playing, just take your time.

Main complaints: #1, there is no confirm when you start a new game. Accidentally hit that instead of continue and it erased my progress. Would be nice for a catch saying "new game will erase previous data" or something. #2, the color symbol slide puzzle, although beatable without the final hint, does not give you the final hint until AFTER you beat the puzzle. Weird.

I have the generic complaint about the marionette but it's not that bad. Not bad enough to take away one star. If you enjoy point and click puzzle games you'll be hard pressed to find many better than this one for android.

I absolutely loved the creepy atmosphere! The puzzles were really fun and challenging. My only complaint is that it kind of ended a little anti-climactic. unless this is a series I was just very confused

Have to uninstall! Am not able to go through certain doors, so I get stuck in a room n end up having to start new game or now, it won't let me pick up items. Looks like it could b interesting, but u have to b able to play the damn game first in order to find out. Unless the devs know something that I don't...

My kind of game. Have to agree on the lack of 'confirm' if you accidentally press New Game though. Got half way through and had to start all over again next time I played.

Game is enjoyable and not that spooky like some others - enough to enjoy it with headphones. In fact the only time I got spooked was when ads are popping up straight after you solve minigame (it's very annoying especially as they're videos)... Try and see for yourself

It suddenly decided to lose all my progress and force me to begin again. That put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable puzzle game – do I restart or will it do the same thing?

I had no glitch or freeze problems. It is a creepy dark story with challenging puzzles. Simple but beautiful layout. Please make more. TY

The slider puzzle ruins the game plus going back to near the start to check clues for puzzles that's near the back is just boring.

It was similar to rusty lake games, but free. Yes few ads not too bad.

Loved it! Very creepy but good game and not so easy to finish. If you like point and click escaping games with some horror, you will enjoy playing this!

Loved the game it was fantastic. I had alot of fun with it. It had a very creepy atmosphere and the puzzles were great and challenging. I just wish it was longer but overall i highly recommend it.

Needs skips. Some of the puzzles are too hard and the puzzles states are not saved if you navigate away and back, forcing you to start over. Otherwise top notch game.

Pun intended as it's a run down theater with creepy stuff. The soundtrack has a good scary tone but plays on a loop and can be tiring but for a short point n click it fits and doesn't wear on you. The sfx are done well too with creatures and jump scares getting you. While there Are jump scares they're mostly appropriate, introducing characters or reactions to actions with BOOs here and there. Played this first but there's another before it, while the voice acting isn't great it makes for a longer experience

Like someone else stated, the marionette section is pretty frustrating because of the level of precision needed. Otherwise it's a really rewarding little game.

2 puzzles I couldn't figure out to save my life lol but lucky enough there is a video link in the game to help. It was hard but mostly not to hard minus the 2 that stumped me. I had a lot of fun and i will try the other 2 games from this company. I gave 4 stars because 1 puzzle in the game wouldn't work I had to reload the game twice to get it to work.

Absolutely love this and Surgery. The vibration however is annoying. The phone is on silent with no vibration on yet it still vibrates when certain things happen during the game. Could you please fix so that these events don't cause vibration.

Fairly short game with a distinct horror feel. Not as good as Rusty Lake. Game play isn't quite as logical; possible to solve certain puzzles before you've seen the clues to solve them. No tap to advance through npc's dialogue.

Would have been a great game, but the marionette puzzle at the beginning was ridiculously frustrating. I worked on it for over an hour trying to get the EXACT position correct and finally deleted the game because I was having zero fun.

Great puzzles and I like the art style. The narrator at the beginning and end was terrible!! That plus the happy music made it not very scary. Liked it overall though.

Excellently and playfully grotesque. Challenging puzzles which you'll need a pen for at times. Very enjoyable entertainment for no cost. Amazing.

Ads are in a stupid place. They cover your inventory at the bottom.

Not as good as Surgery, but still very enjoyable. The music was thoroughly annoying though, so I hope in the future you can provide the option to turn the music off, but not the sound effects.

Brilliant....one of the best escape puzzle i have ever played...played all 3 versions.....you guys should come up with some more versions

Atmosphere was on par with surgery and all clues were solvable by flexing the brain muscle a bit. Very well done.

No matter how much I pose the stupid puppet the right way nothing happens, yes I looked under the poster, it's not doing anything!

There's places you need a mega memory or to write stuff down. Entertaining but I quit when I realized I'd need a pen and paper or a better memory. It should save what you've done and not start at zero each puzzle.

You have to drop instruments before you can click on things.

I love click escape games. This one is good, but doesn't bring anything new. If you're looking for a basic horror escape, this is great. (Spoiler ahead) My only complaint is that I could get past the puppet on the stage. I tried for a while to get him to match the picture, but it never let me pass. Another great series is Rusty Lake
