Galaxy on Fire™ - Alliances for Android
I've been playing GOFA for nearly 2 years now. Problems with the game are the HUGE number of bugs and glitches which usually occur when least welcome i.e. when moving or battling with large fleets. FL have known about these bugs since the game began but are simply unable or unwilling to sort them. Support is a complete joke. You send in a ticket and receive an automated reply but that's the end of it. Period! Do not waste your money, you will be treated like a mug.
Amazing game but there are so many ways it can be improved.. Like for one, why can't we build jump gates or space stations? Make them cost millions and be destructible so they aren't overused and then they can act as alliance HQs (stations).. And then there's far too much micromanagement for delivering resources between planets.. There should be a building like a "transport depot" or something that can be used to deliver resources automatically from one planet to another.
It won't load it goes through extracting files but after it is done it closes down and won't open back up I play on an LG OPTIMUS PRIME
I would rather spend money on GOF2 because I can't get GOF3 which I don't know why. For your game to become better if not the best,,,change the battle entire, let us be able to fight and control the fight not get the statics,,, no-one wants to see statistics we want to fight. You might aswel INTERGRATE GOF2 and this one. And please when you make the battle 3D so we control the fight then I will redownload this game
Seems like what I imagine a mobile version of Eve would be like. The only issue is that the games popularity died 2 years ago so there aren't many active players that aren't in enormous guilds. That being said it's easy to establish a home area because most planets are controlled by people who don't play anymore. It's a shame, one of the first mobile games I've seen that allows you to take planets and systems from other people through force. Oh well.
I've playing since 2015 but now I am leaving. I will not waste a single minute more in this game. It was awesome, a great concept with fun events and full of life, but after a long history of bad updates, countless bugs that only get worse and months abandoned by developers this game is DEATH. It has been hanging for 1-2 years only because the community is great... but now everyone is leaving. It was the best android mmo in Google play... now it's just the biggest scam in Google Play. Don't waste your time in this game.
Great game, get it while its free LOL! Also, Fish Labs, you might want to add more hack protection against hacking, like a glitch appearing at the right time that inhibits movement, or the latest one that destroies a whole carriers' cargo, even the fighter ships on it... :(
Awesome game and graphics..I think the only problems I had were 1)so many inactives and less chance for growth and 2) Can you pls add a small tag for ships that are on missions and those that are just traveling..I got so confused most of the times!! 3) make a new empty server:p
You call this a game. What and where to play. It's just a building up planet programme just to waste your time. Moreover, all the good planets are occupied by overpowered player, there's no fun in it. The high level player can attack and destroy beginners easily.....You cannot play the game or attack anyone unless you want to loss everything as all the planets are owned by overpowered user and bam...if you attack them and retaliate you lost everything. There's no fun in it just a waste of time
Twice now I have been restricted from logging in and run the risk of losing everything. Everything was going mostly fine then BAM it will not log in with my Facebook Account -- TEST YOU CODE PROPERLY
This game is Clash of Clans but better- in my opinion at least. GOFA is an extremely entertaining game which, though it isn't meant to be played for long periods of time at once, I can drool over for hours. I have no real complaints, though there is, as with any game, room for improvement here. Specifically, I would love it if Fishlabs would add more of their excellent ships to the game. more types of units would make the game way better. It is also worth saying that GOFA actually requires you to play it often (once a day for five minutes) in order to progress. This game is also a very strategy-orientated game. YES, THEY ACTUALLY MEAN IT. One more thing: attacks happen automatically. There is no CoC style deployment. Instead, there's quite a lot of waiting. All in all, I love this game. But that's just me. Give it a shot, and see for yourself.
Game keeps crashing on start up. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it just crashes after intro movie finishes. Not a single person has contacted me for support.
I've played this game for years and love in. However on my S7 Edge the resolution is to large. My old Galaxy S4 makes this game look better. I installed game tuner but unfortunately by resolution is already at 100%. Lowering it makes the probably worse. Please can you update a feature to change In game resolution because I know the S7 isn't the only phone doing this.
I used to play this game not so long ago on my iphone but now it has been rendered useless. I can't even long in a to any of the servers and instead an error pops up saying I had bad connection. One might say my internet connection is bad, but I have good connection and now I can't log in and play the game. Please fix this and I will give a good review that this game deserves, thank you.
Please add more diversity in terms of Carriers and ship types. Also add NPCs that we can attack! there is too little Voids! your rarely see them. And if you wanna play peacefully please add cities in planets and also population. Population is needed to further expand and colonize. Also they should be needed for recruitment into military. Population should also be needed to upgrade ur Extractors as they work. the higher level cities the more population. ALSO add fleet to fleet combat in space rather than just planets. for example travelling npcs
Terrible game... all servers are loaded with over powered players who harass any new players leaving no value to the game... There is no balance to give help to new players, all artifact worlds are occupied, void worlds pretty much do not exist... this is an elitist game that is not worth starting to play unless a new server is opened.
Would be a good game if they cared to put any effort into fixing the many consistent bugs. It was great but the bugs kill it. Of course this is to get you to spend more money to replace what you lose due to the bugs. The developers just don't care anymore.....

A must have RTS. I rated it 5 befor but if u add resource gathering spots it would be better. Like astroids forr mettle. Nebula for gas. And comets for crystals. And if u make it to where we can name our planets instead of them being named allready u will save yourself and us some ram space. If u do these things u will have me as a customer. I only rated it 1 star to get ur attention. And if u make the void act like players this game will be a ten star game worthy of instant purchasing
This game requires loot of change in interaction with the user to make more easy played .. Hard to find what planet i build my shipyard. Hard to deliver cargo because first you must choose destination not choose from where first, make user need to remember what planet first. And too long too deliver from home1 to home2...
The game often has bugs that affect your ability to play the game. Support is very bad for the game. I have been asking for support on a bug issue that affects my game play for months now and noone has contacted me or resolved the issue. Playing the game with all of its bugs and poor support from fishlabs can be an exercise in frustration. Save yourself... don't bother.
Game is good butfilled with bugs, the new void feature sucks because when attacked they run away. And the worst thing is that they have a worst customer support you will ever find. So install at your own risk
I've tried playing this game a bunch a times and it just kept exiting even when i uninstalled it then reinstalled it it kept doing the same. Please fix this problem
You can add a feature wherein the player can control the ships WHERE they are deployed. This can make the entire thing much more realistic. All we get is the battle report. Other than that, the approach is quite fantastic!
I'm not a racist, but I stopped playing this game because of the BS that came from the Chinese controlled factions. Some of the largest factions are controlled by Chinese players and they take the game way too seriously and in my opinion ruin it for the rest of the players. It's like all they do is play this game and manage to sway other players to join them just because they are so high in level. They have destroyed the equality in this game and have turned away alot of players from this game...
Eversince I discovered it last Dec 2015, I'm always hooked up to developing my empire of worlds. I love its graphics esp the planets where you can see it in 3D. The colors and effects are superb. It's just sad that I can't create a nation alliance since virtually no once from my country plays it. Almost all servers are dominated by Russians and Latinos. There's one large Chinese Alliance but other than them, no large Asian group is in existence. But overall I love this. At first you have to wait for eternity to develop your planets but when you reach a point you have all the time to busy yourself with different tasks.

But if you expand to your fullest capability, you need to manage your empire as well. Keep that in mind.
Game is sound but battles are very automated. No input like flying your own ship, controlling fleets, or commanding troops in battle. Every confrontation is all about the numbers. Also new carrier grouping feature will cause you to loose carriers. Fishlabs, please fix!
Been playing for a little while now and I think it's a fantastic game. Only reason for 3 stars is it isn't cross platform. So I can't continue my games from the Apple servers where I have spent the past year building up and spending a few hundred dollars on.
App keep force closing after a few seconds i played it on my Xperia J. I don't know why. My internet connection are good. My memory is free enough. My ram is free enough. I've try re-install it. But it still force closing. Please fix it. I really love this game.
The ads are too insidiously-implemented. They shouldn't pop up over parts of the interface I'm about to tap. Try putting them on loading screens or something. Make them less obnoxious, and I'd be more inclined to pay for their removal out of appreciation - but not just because you succeeded in annoying me.
Amazing sci fi game with hd graphics factions, planet colonization and extracting, even when only battle report is visible, its still awesome, i like the doom sounds when a ship is hit and those voice overs with those "polish" topics
The game itself is great. However, whenever the game is open (even if my phone is off) it drains the battery. My phone will go dead in a few hours. The main process taking the battery is mediaserver, which only drains the battery if the program is open. I have to close it in the app for every time I'm done playing. Nexus 6.
The game is fun to play as long as you will pay the other players for the right to play. Several players have started to force payment or they will keep you from playing by taking every world you have as soon as you get it. They have been reported several times and fish labs has yet to do anything about it.
Fishlabs needs to work on its servers. Yeah I'm Mortous from the Mortous Empire and I am in unsatisfied customer. I was about to play the game and this happens? What the heck?!?! Is this an all year thing?
Great just Great!!! No crashes don't heat my battery!! I think it would get a lot more 5* if the tutorial was better!! Leaves u a bit confused, Join an alliance and they will fill in what the tutorial leaves out. Everyone that likes space games DL now cuz it's the best! Well worth the learning curve!! See you in the nebula!!!
Downloaded game and went to open it says downloading aditional files then stops and says downloas failed this may be because you did not purchase the game all tho o downloaded feom app store. Please fix its on galaxy s3
Do you want to play a game without game support, sometimes lag which causes premium currency to be spent without confirmation and glitches? The game interface needs to be worked on. The game is poorly playable on a seven inch tablet with decent resolution. I had several unintended double clicks which wasted premium currency earned from a week. I can not recommend this game to anyone. The Support never answered any of my requests. You get an automatic mail and thats the end of the story. Forum requests are also not answered at all. My smartphone, a google developer phone for android, was declared as incompatible by the support because i had sent in a few bug reports. We talk about the reference smartphone for android by google itself. Funny that the Hardware and software by google itself is incompatible, although the game had the same issues as on my tablet now. The ingame currency is used up without confirmation on a seven inch tablet. I misclicked and the credits are gone. No confirmation dialog, no offer to refund it, nothing. I played different games and any other game has a confirmation box, or an option for confirmation for premium currency spending.
The tutorial could use a little more depth, but once you get the hang of it, really fun. Kind of gets you excited for "No man's sky". Graphics are nice, runs great, give it a try if you have been looking for space colonialism/resource management game.

This could be a real classic. It has gorgeous graphics, good gameplay with involving battle strategy, and a rich community. The community is the main reason most players are still involved, to be honest. The game suffers from severe lag during battles, many bugs, and a horrendously indifferent support team. Coupled with overpriced IAPs, the end result is a game that could have been great, but sadly endures due to it's community and little else.
