Learn Music Notes for Android
In the Training screen the notes sound and appear on a stave and you have to push the button with the correct note, if is the right note the note sound again, this way you can train your musical ear skills. If the note isn't right the phone vibrate and the informer mode help you marking in green the correct note.
After that in the one minute test screen you can test your skills in a limited time. Your records will be saved with the date in the hall of fame screen, this way you can track your progress.
LearnMusicNotes supports six different types of notation, no matter what country you are:
1. Southern and Eastern Europeans (do re mi)
2. English (C D E)
3. North European (C D E ... H)
4. Bizantine (or pa vu)
5. Japanese (イ ロ ハ)
6. Indian (sa re ga).

i am a beginning musician do not install this app it doesnt even help you
Awful UI, only option is treble clef.
I wanted to learn the notes not the notes and I couldn't find the settings to change it. I uninstalled the App right away.
Would be even better if correct note was also given in test mode, when you make a mistake. BUT I cannot see where to change the settings. Add a clear 'SETTINGS' button.
This is my daughter's favorite flash card app so she does it alot which is great. The problem is she needs to practice the bass cleff and i can't see that is an option.
Need preexisting knowledge of music notes.
Bush league. Tests should use real note names if intended for players not singers.
If you have problem with update, remove the program and install it again.
The author of this app is a professional and reliable guy
I just plain don't like it.
It works perfectly for an absolute beginner.
This is what I was looking forward. Thank you. Can you make it to change the clef for the left hand?
Doesn't actually tell you how to READ THE NOTES
I saw that the example had the letter notes, but it's all solfedge when you open it up.
You don't learn music notes. Do re mi is not helpful for this and besides you are missing ti.
doesnt teach you anything dont like it
It took one hour for me to learn the notes. Nice way to learn them though.
Right now it is too basic, but it does have potential.
Don't bother!!!
Ugly, but exactly what I was looking for.
Works great. Check the options for letter notes.
Fast way of learning and testing yourself. Request for bass cleff option. Otherwise excellent. Thank you.
Nice
very useful to learn music. I liked it.
Very good if you are up to the challenge
I love it
From zero to reading music within a week - love this and I get to compete against my Fiancee who has been sight reading for years ;) Would be nice to have the ability to turn sounds on or off
This app really requires that you have some knowledge of music and even then it is a bit confusing. The solfege are in random order. "Ti" is the common name in America for the 7th position. I'll stop there.
Playing the wrong note hit is extremely counter productive! Only sound out the right notes and get five stars ;)
I was hoping to see an update on the sound, maybe have the ability to replay the practice sound and maybe something extra to do with it.thank you ~ Liz with LG
I love this app because of how simple it is. Perfect for a musician wanting to improve basic note knowledge and response time. Only problem is that this app is a bit slow. Hopefully the developers will improve speed. Overall: A very useful app. Just what I have been looking for! Thank you.
Simple but great. If bass clef is included, that will be perfect.
Very simple, and just what I need! Bad reviews seem outdated, as the needed features were definitely added!
Took a while to realise how to change note names.. Would love bass clef.
In 5 minutes, you can drastically improve your note reading abilities. One thing that frustrated me was note recognition speed. Using the 1 minute test, I challenge myself. Then I take 5 minutes for the lesson part. I am no longer frustrated. Great app!
It's a tiny app and does what it does realy well. I'm a flute player but terrible at reading music. I know where all the notes are on my instrument but it takes me a long time to read sheet music. The right clef for me. I've been using it every day for a few minutes since I downloaded it. If I get to the point where I don't need it anymore I'll still keep it because it's soo tiny!
As someone that's struggled with remembering note positions for years, this is a fantastic app. Thanks.
Why are rhw letters garbled up I'f the order means something I sire don't know it. Make an option to randomized letters each note or have letters cdedgab or abcdefg
One suggestion though is to have the ability to replay the sound. Also, when rotated, it changes the note, could be fixed?
