Prototype Defense Lite for Android
The game's awesome. I only have the free version and beat all its levels in godlike but I still can't stop playing it. But I noticed that when I use the "upgrade all" option, all other towers of the type that I upgraded completely lose their ranks and have to start over. Really stinks to accidentally derank a marshal, but I think the game still deserves five stars.
I soon noticed... That a fully upgraded speed laser... Makes all other towers redundant... (Except cheap turrets for funnelling). Please balance out the damage/dollar ratio! Otherwise great game with plenty of creative freedom.
Bug-free and enjoyable. Being able to shape the path of the enemy adds more strategic options. Some of the print is TINY, so you'll want a tablet or a really big phone. More maps would be nice.
None of the text is readable on menus, narration screens or the timer. Build window is too small to use. Game is worthless until they fix it.
The tutorial is not super clear and is also too long. The menu options are very small and hard to use on my S5. Maybe a tablet would be better. Once I abandoned the tutorial, it is easy to play and fun.
I'm a defense nut, and this is the best one I've ever played! Just need some work because I can only play the first level. Anything else shuts the game down. Upgrades are the best I've seen! Thank you!
Enjoyable tower defense, with good combinations of creeps and towers. Gets hard in a hurry without upgrades, and lite version seems to allow you past level 1.3, but you can only start there.
Could've been better if there are more stages instead of just relying on the difference in difficulties. I especially love the concept of the aliens going through specific checkpoints before reaching their destination, it makes strategizing a lot more interesting. All in all, its a great game but it still needs more work on the level development
The best td game to date. You can speed up the game play and have multiple waves sent without having to wait between rounds which makes for a faster game instead of 30 minutes like most tds
The game features simplistic play accented with a fun and challenging casual experience. It's also good because it runs decently on even low end phones with about as many frame rate hiccups as yours expect from a tower defense game.
Played about 5 levels so far, love the game and the customization I get when creating mazes. Do wish the game had empty platforms I could place so I didn't buy a whole turret to build mazes.
Every time I play the game it shows a black screen with items please fix
Good take on a common genre. I like that you can upgrade the base and the gun, which adds more to the basic TD gameplay. Difficulty increases quickly, maybe could use some more strategy tips in the tutorial to help get off the easier difficulty settings.
I cant read the interface in game i need a magnifying glass to see... instantly removes any fun this game could have been. ...... :(
It is a really nice Defense game, but, for the love of God, make the fonts bigger. I cant read them at all and I have great eyesight.
For a tower defense game, this is the best by far! Lots of options and challenges, but also simple enough to jump in and play.
You have no idea how tough/irritating it is to find a td game that is balanced, not too easy or difficult, isn't pay to win, and has tons of replayability. Prototype Defense is what other TD games should be
I like the game. It has similar game play to Radiant Defense that I played a lot, though not as pretty. I haven't found any other tower defense game that I liked it as much as these two. This game hasn't been updated in a long time and is apparently missing some promised paid features. But the free version is good enough for me.
IMO, a very basic yet fun tower defense game having a very rapid firing tower, a heavy hitting tower, a slow tower (a tower that slows the enemies), and a tower that can hit multiple targets. It also has many different types of enemies. And then you also can upgrade your towers out of the game (or match or whatever you call it) so that they are better in game.
A fun tower defense. Plays smoothly until you decide to put >6 laser turrets on screen (on smartphone) then gets a bit jumpy in "fast forward mode". Duplicating turrets could be done better by changing the coding to be similar to "advanced build", allowing you to rapidly place multiple upgraded turrets.
I am having trouble with geting past a level because there are not enough info on what types the towers are strong against. But all in all a fun game! Thanks
Very entertaining and intricate. Limited presence of glitches. (Notably the games ability to resume a game with the "continue function" and the lack of the ability to go higher than Lvl 2 with income upgrade). Overall, a great way to waste time.
Awesome game!!! However I'm giving it 4 stars cause the screen sometimes goes blank right after I complete a level then I gotta restart the app. If not for that issue I'd give it 5 stars. Warning: game can get very addicting.
The game is pretty fun. Would sure love a sandbox mode and upgrades to be a little cheaper. Some of the levels are kinda unfair

Great game! Runs very nicely on my Galaxy S4, although everything is a bit small. On my Nexus 10 there are a few performance problems, but it is still well playable.
Only 10 beam lasers can be drawn at a time, if you upgrade another, an older one will stop firing. The targeting AI is horrible, it will *almost* kill an enemy and then suddenly switch targets before finishing it off. The lasers don't take advantage of long lines of enemies. Quite aggravating to see your defenses used so poorly.
Let me begin by stating that I love Tower-Defense games, so my opinions may be slightly skewed. This game is fun! While it may seem deceptively simple at first take, the number if upgrades and customizability give the game immense replay value. You can enjoy the game on an easy setting and then take the same level on a hard setting to test your upgrades and strategies... and speaking of strategies, you can employ so many! The upgrade system really allows you to make this game unique. I love it!
Feels like the most basic TD that you're used to playing, but the tower combinations and upgrade system are fairly unique. The upgrade system, to me, is a bit confusing, specifically whether or not i can upgrade dmg, speed and range individually and create a different turret than if I'd just maxed one category of upgrades.
I've got the Samsung galaxy s5, and (as the title hinted) buttons and text are tiny. You've got to have microscopic fingers to tap half the buttons. Fix = * * * * *. Great work though!
I got it on my phone but its all squashed up a lot overlaps and can't see most of it. Please fix!, but for a TD game really good. (If i could see it).
The gameplay is pretty big and fun and the only imperfection is that it lags and freezes sometimes
The Heads Up Display needs work :/ the game is great but 2 buttons overlap (menus and time to next wave) also the words go offscreen and out of the dialog box when in the shop
It may not look impressive, but the defense dynamics are good and levels mostly well balanced. Stuck on one level now (failed 5 times) after passing the others without undue effort, hence 4 stars
Everything is too small. Seems like the UI is designed specifically for tablets
Poor graphics, placing towers takes far to much effort and clicking, lacks any real polish or fun
Excellent graphics, sound effects, upgrade options for towers. Needs a bit more work on balance ie which tower works against which mob e.g laser useless as it targets not line of enemies but a single mob somewhere else... Overall highly recommend this to tower defense fans.
For a tower defense game, this is the best by far! Lots of options and challenges, but also simple enough to jump in and play.
This game is great and has a lot of potential. Only improvements I would suggest is the next wave count down ba to be a little bigger so its easier press and more puzzles and layouts. Maybe a layout editor so we could create limitless challenges. Otherwise its one of the best I have played! Keep up the too work :-)
