Middle-earth Name Generator

Why is the my name the same word as bird, song & oh, my grandson who's name is nothing like mine? Also, the word for hammer is the same as for hunter... just to name a few. Is there a limit of translatable words?

Even space bar makes a slightly different name so I added one till I got a name I liked :-D

I am a huge LOTR fan and this does not disappoint. It gives you your name in Elvish, Dwarvish, Shire reconning, Northern Manish (Adunaic), and the Black Speech! It also gives you your name in male and female terms four three of those mentioned. For instance: my brother's name in the Black Speech was Lugburz the Squeaker, while my sister was the bloody handed! Great app and even gives you examples of the Elvish language.

Please add dwarf font, cs I prefer dwarf than elf

If you want a transliteration tool this isn't it. If you want a translation tool this isn't one. This is a list of names with alphabetical lookup. Some of the names having been rendered in a Tolkienesk font. Useful only as a dictionary of names that have already been created by JRRT. Nothing original here.
