About Chess Puzzler
Chess problems are a fun way to your keep brain agile.
Chess Puzzler contains more than 4000 STATIC diagrams of chess problems and
can be extended with your own problem sets.
Chess Puzzler is NOT a chess playing program and focuses entirely on STATIC diagrams of chess problems, in particular you CANNOT move the pieces - this is intentional, forcing your brain to work harder.
The app is small and can easily handle even large problem
sets of over 100000 problems, e.g. Eduardo Sadier's
excellent collection of "mate in 2s".

yes there are many puzzles but does not state how many moves, who moves first, weather its mate or win. only gives the first move of the solution.

Im all for thinking harder, but how the hell am I supposed to know I solve the puzzle correctly if I cant move the pieces, nor does it give any indication of anything? WTF. I could've made a good first move and got checkmated anyway. That doesn't help shht.

Since the pieces don't move and only the first move is given in the solutions, this forces me to think. Best is to set up a board on harder problems. If I cannot solve it, I will star it and come back later. Would be a better program if it mimiced the app "Tactics"
