The game is fun but not very challenging

So over this game. Skews dice rolls unbelievably, more noticeable the further through the levels you progress. Tries to even out the gameplay, taking away the fun of truly random dice rolls. Would be great without this over engineered approach. Can't be bothered to explain more. Uninstalling...

Dice throws are unrealistic. Never in a million years is it possible to toss so many doubles during the course of any dice game. It's obvious the developer has skewed dice rolls in favor of doubles, to offset the lack of performance of the AI. When playing a "real" game, when was the last time you've ever seen the same doubles rolled 2 and 3 times during a game? You'll see it quite frequently with this game.

There are some rule mistakes. But best a.i. of narde apps that I played before.

Just started playing this one but so far everything is good. Dice rolls seem to be more random (ie better) than another similar freebie I've tried.

apart from the really horrid graphics, the gameplay was awful. it seemed to not understand that you CAN actually move two pieces on an ordinary move, and insisted i could only move one piece twice. strange rules.

Game controls the dice and cheats accordingly.

The gameplay is fairly good. Online multiplayer also works well. The problems are: doesn't keep a history, so no way to know your statistics. Also, no undo. I'm playing on a little phone screen; it's easy to touch the wrong pip, but once touched. It's played. Period. And there are confusing aspects. When you touch a pip to move it, it is hilighted. Touch another pip, *its* blighted. So you can have several lighted pips, and can't tell which will move. I like this game but am going to try another app.

It reminds me of acey ducey. I also tried another narde backgammon on the free list. It used alot of megabytes & wasn't near as fun as this one is.

My impression is that on the first move you are allowed to take two off the head.

I liked this game. Until I clearly had it beat. It could only move to the 4 and 6 spot to close. It rolled 4 or/and 6 to beat me. Really! !! Uninstall. ...

This is an interesting alternative to normal ( Western ) backgammon , of which I am a regular off-line player . It took me about 4 or 5 games to work out how to play narde but since then it been a lot of fun . However, I have knocked off a star from my review as I am not entirely convinced that the dice roll is random . It does not necessarily favour any one player but produces rolls which (mistakenly) try to make the game more exciting. This is a common problem with all 7 of the gammon apps that I have so far played on Android - many of which blatently cheat on the dice roll . It seems that they all may be using the same (corrupted ) random dice generator programme. Though this app is better than most . Another slight problem with the app is that it closes if I press the 'recents' key on my galaxy s2 tab . Otherwise, all good fun.

Great game but now and then it will not let me move a piece to an open space. Can be aggravating but not to the point of deleting it. Just restart

Strange behavior with multiplayer. I've tried a few times, and only once I was able to finish the game. In all other cases the game was over by itself with different results. So, as a result it's potentially nice app that can't really be used.

Awesome game.

Quite different from the "normal" Backgammon, like the developer said. Acknowledging that this is not the Backgammon we are used to is nice, but it would be even nicer if we had just a few lines of instruction/hints (like pretty much everybody else has said). I can change all sorts of appearances, play online with others, keep a running score, but I didn't know how to play the game until I figured out how the pieces moved, where they moved to, and what they did when they got there. It took me a while to figure it out, but I eventually did. Now that I know how to play the game, I'm enjoying this version of Backgammon a lot more than the regular version. This app is nice - no crashes (so far), the computer doesn't run the board, and it also doesn't let you win. You actually have to think about your moves. I'll definitely recommend this app to others.

Haven't been on long enough to rate

Play is weird UNINSTALLING because this is not the game I was looking for! Sorry....it is just not for me.
