English Ear Game for Android
great :-)
I like the games
Good job!
Good
Excellent
The idea is awesome, but the recordinds are not that much well done and some are not only confusing but might teach someone wrong pronunciation. Don't get me wrong, I'm not raging over unsuccessful plays. I downloaded out of curiosity - I already have a C1 Cambridge certificate, and I do know the pronunciation of those words, as they classify for easy ones.
Goog game for me.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Gud 4 english learning
This is not learning English, it's distinguishing between L and R.
About 2/3rds of my errors were due to the sound cutting out on the emphasis of either the L or R. It wasn't a regular problem, it was rather rare but frustrating to get that one word wrong based on a 50/50 guess just because I couldn't hear it.
useless
it is a very biutiful game
This is a great tool!
It was ok but need more words
First off, it would cut out. so i wouldn't hear the beginning of a word (ex. i would hear 'ong' and the choices are 'wrong' or 'long'.. Like wtf? Am i supposed to guess? Secondly, some of them had an accent, which would really confuse me. it made 'glow' sound exactly like 'grow' with the accent so i kept getting it wrong. Continuity counts you know. If i weren't native English i probably would have learned to say the same things different (ex. The 'L'in 'glass' sounded ALOT like an r. Sorry. Just my opinion
As an ESL intructor, I think this is good to build listening skills. It is also helpful and getting my Asian students to understand how to pronounce L and R. Very fun for my students. They like the race on the time clock.
