Light Up is a logic puzzle with simple rules and challenging solutions.
Light Up is played on a rectangular grid. The grid has both black cells and white cells in it. The objective is to place light bulbs on the grid so that every white square is lit. A cell is illuminated by a light bulb if they're in the same row or column, and if there are no black cells between them. Also, no light bulb may illuminate another light bulb.
Some of the black cells have numbers in them. A number in a black cell indicates how many light bulbs share an edge with that cell.

Why is it illuminating black squares? You can't play there and the two lights are separated. It's an opaque black square... fix the game, maybe I'll come back

When I found this app, I was discouraged by the 2.9 rating and reviews about it not working. After wasting dozens of hours on these puzzles with this app, I can confidantly refute the outdated reviews. This app works fine, and it's the best app of its kind on the store. It has at least nearly infinite puzzles, whereas some other apps have a finite number of premade levels. If you're a fan of this kind of puzzle, this is the app for you.

The numbers are white text in white boxes, and all the black boxes are blank with no numbers at all. That's not how this game works.

The puzzle does not have the numbers to indicate lightbulbs.
