■砂漠の狐とは
「砂漠の狐」は、ファミコン時代から続くウォーシミュレーションのシリーズです。
近代兵器がぶつかり合う近代戦を描いた本シリーズは、活躍の舞台を家庭用ゲーム機から携帯電話に移しつつ、常に新しい要素を取り入れながら進化してきました。
本格的ターン制シミュレーションゲームであった第１作。リアルタイム・ストラテジーであった第２作。そして、「タワーディフェンス」というジャンルに生まれ変わった第３作――砂漠の狐V3。本作はこの「V3」をスマートフォン向けに大幅改良した作品です。

■タワーディフェンスとは
自軍の領地へ攻め込む敵に対し様々な防衛兵器や施設を設置し、迎え撃つ防衛型シミュレーションゲームです。
ゲームはリアルタイムで進行します。領地は広大なグリッドになっており、そこに次々と兵器を設置してゆきます。敵は兵器を回避しながら最短ルートで陣地を突破しようとするため、できる限り敵の突破ルートが複雑なものになるように設置方法を工夫しましょう。
一定数の敵の侵入を許してしまうとそこで敗北となります。
敵の特性を見極め、コストを計算し、相性のいい兵器や施設をいかに効率よく配置していくかが勝利への鍵となります。

■スマートフォン版「砂漠の狐V3」の特徴
EASYからENDLESSまで選べる各種難易度設定のほか、アタックのたびにじっくり戦略を考えられる通常モード、リアルタイムで襲い来る敵の猛攻に即時対応してゆくWAVEモード、フィールド上の「研究所」への敵の到達を防ぐ研究所モードを備え、奥深いタワーディフェンスの世界を遊びつくすことができます。
スマートフォンならではの「ピンチイン・アウト」を始めとするタッチ操作に完全対応。
さらに、高解像度な画面にふさわしく、全画像の描き直しと改良を行っています。
スマートなインターフェイスは、よりスマートな戦略を生むこと間違いなし！
