1. threatened squares: Displays the status of each piece on the board. A red square means that the piece is under attack and not sufficiently defended, or that it is being attacked by a piece of lesser value. This is usually a pretty serious danger signal and means you must take active measures to avoid losing a piece. Yellow means that the piece is under attack, but it is just sufficiently defended. You must be careful about removing any defending piece. Green means the piece has enemy contact but is well defended. Usually it is okay to remove a defending piece.

After update of Android 6.0.1 on my Samsung A6 tablet the board no longer fits the screen (only 6x8 fields) no matter what I do! Great before - now useless. Please fix asop.

Guys if u wanna learn and play blindfold chess, this is the best app ever.

It would be nice if there was a confirm button so I could move the piece and check around the board to see if I like that move, then confirm it to make the move. It would feel like moving a piece on a chess board and keeping your finger on the piece in order to check out the board.

Great pics client, but no way to easily save my fics games.

Good game, not sure why on some permissions though, why would it need to know app history? Also could make the dots darker, can hardly see them on some color boards. Seems to be quite a big difference after 2 ply level, gets harder quickly, engine seems to draw a lot when you have it on the run....but it's free and no ads, not many on here that has that..

Could you please add engine analysis, as well as on-screen arrows for recommendations of next moves, like Droid fish has?

Awesome, and for the price (free & ad-free) you simply can't find better.

The app does not have fancy graphics like some others, but it can do anything you could wish for. You can play online on the free internet service, you can play against the computer, you can solve puzzles and learn and analyze games.

Perfect, ad less, many options for difficulty, works well with free internet chess server.

I'm totally amateur, but I really enjoy the Chromecast compatibility. I will enjoy adding some serious polish to my chess game.

Show captured pieces during online game +2* Give option to remove confirm/cancel buttons for online play, and instead send move directly +1*

Good software. Not strong as droid stockfish 6 but is a nice software

Only annoying bug is: if you play with black figures and minimize the app and come back to continue the game the board would flip on you and now you are playing with white figures. You have to manually flip the board to continue with black figures :-(

Very good and still improving

Made me lose on time by not transmitting a move for three minutes, while still running clock.

Using it for years!

Wont load files. Can import db which is good. This has the potential of a 5* app. Great vision allround! Thanks Jaroen I will have a look.

But when computer move and mate it stucks long time and crushes.

This is a goodgamean exelelent but you can do a 2 players version
