【あらすじ】
世界に対する破滅願望を内包する平凡な高校生、結城誠を主人公とする物語。
誠は、論拠なき法に束縛された大衆が腐食する世界を怜悧な眼で俯瞰しつつ、凡愚な小市民を演じて惰性に流れる起伏のない既製品の高校生活を謳歌していた。
誰でも経験する、根拠のない閉塞感に包まれる青春時代を、誠も彼が嫌う小市民とともに漠然と送っていたが、ある日、彼の『彼女』である、同級生の小野寺有紀から連続失踪事件の調査を依頼される。
高校入学以来、無菌室的な変わらない日常に倦怠していた誠は、渋々ながらその依頼を引き受けるが……
