MGS V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

Yea it's nice to use the map when playing so you don't always have to load it on TV, but that's all.... Doesn't do anything else. Would be nice to be able to log in and control the combat deployments, get rewards or even show all the plants, material, vehicles on map etc. Also would be cool if they had mini mission games

The app shuts down and says error every time I try to connect to my ps4. I've uninstall the app on my Galaxy S8 and reinstalled it but it still won't let me connect. The app crashes when I enter the numbers from my ps4 and tries to connect. This makes me so Angry Konami! Come on! Please fix this. I love the mgs franchise and you're ruining it. Please fix this app!

Please someone add a 360 platform this would be so helpful on my Xbox 360 and it sucks that you guys left out the 360 but kept only an XBOX ONE option. It makes no sense. A lot of 360 players still play it and it would be so helpful to use to have this for our platform as well. Thank you for your time administration.

So why does this not work for Xbox 360. Thats bullshit, why do we get left out? Would be willing to donate to the cause if this could be done

Not compatible with the PC game which is outrageous. This app is proof of Konami's apathy towards the MGS saga. In short I hope for nothing but bad things for whoever made these decisions in Konami while I pray the best for Hideo Kojima who lost his prized series like a mother who had her baby snatched from her.

Not working, unusable. Ecery time I try to log in and to connect to my PS4, the app just stops working and closes itself, What a waste. Well, it would be better if this app doesn't exist in the first place.

App work well when tagging enemies and calling in choppers but doesn't allow support for the new "Definitive Edition" which includes both MGSV games. If this would be fixed would definitely be appreciated!

Might've been neat if it would work. It prompts me to sign in to my psn account (I do so) then it says to connect to my specific ps4 in the settings (and I do so). After putting in the code my ps4 generates for devices to connect with however, the app crashes.

Can't really rate an app I can't use. The app always crashes when I'm trying to sync ro PS4. I'm able to sync with my Playstation app bur not this one. Loved it for last MGS so wad looking forward to using again. LET DOWN.

Why can't the old game companies ever create good, compelling, WORKING mobile experiences? This app doesn't even start. It's laughable.

In ps4 the 2 games are in one disk so It would only work if you play the phantom pain "only" i guess...

It does not offer the PC platform. Only for consoles..also no option to cancel download of maps..so if you selected the 700mb download by mistake you're done. closed and uninstalled.

Pretty much downloaded it for fun and seen all the ratings saying oh this app is bad don't download this. To be honest I haven't played around with it much, moved my person around, used with a particular half naked companion moved her around from various spots. The app is kind of slow,but that also could be my side since I'm running off college net. The map controls ya got to learn what is what, which is easy to do. Button on the left, is to follow or not follow your character, 2nd is the facing either north always, or your character facing, next is map graphics, or notifications like enemies (haven't played much with that) next is helicopter calls, and finally companion commands. All in all is freaking sweet, rated 4 out of 5 because it COULD be better. But the reviews saying it sucks, waste of time, ect. Don't listen to them

I really consider this app helpful because when I do missions/side-ops or even in free-roam I can imedieatly call a pick up helicopter or a supply drop. I also think that it would be awesome to be able to acces iDroid ( or at least the Items/Weapons development menu ) from the app itself . It would be so,so cool! You could imagine that you have an iDroid just like the one in the game.Thumbs up if you agree.

I think it's a cool app, but it just has so many things going wrong. If the map would actually download, you could actually sign into your account, and the UI was less vague and confusing, then it would be a lot better. But even then it seems a little pointless in comparison to just using the in-game map. I love Kojima games (not necessarily Konami), so I want to support MGS in any way I can. At least some functionality for FOB monitoring or something along those lines would be welcome. It just doesnt work.

There isn't any PC support! I couldn't get past the main menu and I was so hyped up for this! Major disappointment. Please do add support as soon as possible.

It just sits on the front page and never loads any options to connect with the game. Tapping the front page brings me to the mgsv/konami page. I've tried 5 different devices, Galaxy Note 4 and Note 5, iPhone 6, Galaxy S5 and S6, same issue with all of them. It would be awesome if I could get it to work as I like to be 'co-pilot' when my boyfriend plays.

I have this awesome game on my Xbox 360 but like all the other users of Xbox 360 I would like to know that why is there no compatibility option for it when you have it for PS3. The one extra star I gave you is for the brilliant game you made otherwise this app deserves 1 star (for Xbox 360 and PC users) I have also noticed that you are not even replying to our issues which I think is very irresponsible from your side. Please fix the issues or atleast reply to us because you definitely deserve better ratings

The buttons aren't marked, that's not a huge deal you get used to it. Its only a map though you should be able to control online dispatch missions and check resources. Maybe it notifies you when Your FOB is attacked. There is a huge opportunity for expansion that was not taken.

The idea they had for this was great make your phone your Idroid however the buttons for the map are not labeled so you have to cycle through until late you find what you want and you won't know where they are until late you hit random parts of the screen (the first few times I used this is thought you had to close and reopen to go back out of the map) and the cassette tapes are cool but I can only use music tape 1 music tape 2 doesn't even show up. feels very rushed to be released

Update: With the latest patch I was amazed that I was actually able to get into it and download the map! I was excited to actually use this finally. But when I am asked to sign in, the app will restart itself automatically and I am stuck in a loop of logging in. Friends with the same tablet and Android version have no issues. I have even fully uninstalled and reinstalled it. Unbelievable. I would give this a lower rating if could since it's been months.

Waste of download. Even tried installation twice. Says no Ps4 found. I'm online, on my ps4, same network. It simply doesn't work. The interface is terrible. Super small and no way to even get back to the main menu. You have to randomly click around to get something to pop up but it isn't helpful.

I decided to try this but upon switching on wifi and restarting i was greeted with only 3 options: ps3, ps4, and xbone and was like "wheres pc?". I can understand not being on 360 (cuz 360 is old but ps3 isnt, definately!) But not on pc? Common thats just lazy

Huge battery drain. My tablet last about 3 days but this app will kill the battery in 3 hours. Yesterday it worked fine while your servers were down. Now it crashes every few mins and disconnects. FIX!

The app cant take a picture like ground zeroes. Its really weird that I have iPhone5 in idroid case but I cant use the app anf need to use the app on andriod device. Lack of development if consider the time from gz to tpp.

I just get an error code 5503, log in page dies after half a second, perhaps an issue with my version of Android and the default web browser it uses or some malarky, complete bullcrap regardless. Buttons on side are also damn near impossible to see.

The app would probably be very useful if i could get it to work. When hitting sign in it will either crash or say successfully logged in but won't return to app. Causing me to have to reopen the app and start over. Been going at this for a good 15 minutes. *Edit* new update doesn't give errors. Let's me sign in but immediately restarts the app. And asks me to log in. Endless cycle.

Constantly timing out even though I touch the screen every few minutes. Keeps disconnecting saying different account even though I have not changed anything and I was able to use the app before it disconnects. This is for ps4 on a galaxy s5 phone.

This suck....the app don't work for 360 will rate more stars if you can fix plz...... I luv this game and need the full experience I played mgs gz with the app on ps3 and lets say s*** happens but now I'm on my 360 and no app...plz fix

It works fine for me, and does as advertised, but just barely. It shows the maps, but it's hard to use, confusing to go back and forth with, and the cassette tapes it shows (at least for me) only shows music tapes 1, leaving out the music I actually want (music tapes 2). Compared to other companian apps (Fallout Pip-boy for instance) it could be a great app, but right now you should just stick to the ingame map.

Constantly stops recognising PS4 and disconnecting after about 2 minutes. Menu icons appear totally arbitrary and saying 'unintuitive' would be putting it mildly. Fallout 4 pipboy app is what MGS5 app should be like.

I feel like I am running a timed demo. This shuts down every 4 minitues or so for 'unusual data' but I am on a network dedicated to my ps4. If Fallout 4 can do it, why can't MGSV execute?

Released main game on 5 platforms, but only support 3 of them work it's companion app. Konami failed again.

I own a copy of phantom pain in my pc, and I am completely disappointed that this app does not support PC only console. It's a shame because this app looks useful and fun to use during gameplay. If there is a PC connection I would raise my review. Thank you

It supports the platform's it claims to support. Many complain that it doesn't support platform X. It never claimed to support platform X. Why you have to be mad?

Everyone giving this a 1star either has an Xbox or an iPhone. How to fix issue: get a console that focuses on games and not updating your twitter, and a phone not made for toddlers. Problem solved : )

How is it you thought it was a good idea to release a companion app without support for either PC or Xbox 360? If I could go negative stars for that I would.

I purchased this game and was so excited to see it has the idriod app. But was immediately disappointed when I noticed there is no pc support. Good thing I just but the game and will be getting a refund.
