It's also known as "Barrage", "Curtain Fire" or "Bullet Hell".
Prologue
In the distant past, we were once as one.
Then, one day, we ventured into lands unknown--
a journey like a branching tree into a strange world--
leaving many fragments of ourselves behind.
Those fragments evolved, changing color,
changing form, gaining a sense of self.
These new individuals separated from one another,
rejecting slight differences, while failing to heed their many similarities.
Now you must once again set out on a journey—a journey
to find your fragments scattered throughout the world.
Find all of yourself and become as one again.
About the Game
"Salvo Saga" is a hardcore manic shooter in which you evade a hail of bullets while defeating powerful enemies.
It includes stunningly beautiful stages based on locations around the world.
It’s so easy to play! Simply tap to shoot and slide to move! You can even shoot automatically by holding your
finger on the screen! These easy touch and slide controls make it a cinch to play.
If you’re having trouble defeating a powerful boss, upgrade your aircraft with new cannons! Use the materials
dropped during stages to develop new cannons, equip them in your aircraft’s slots, then go take out the enemy!
There are five types of cannons in all: Parallel, Wide, Laser, Chase, and Special. Customize your cannons
exactly how you want or to suit a certain stage. Create an original aircraft that is all your own!
Equipping cannons comes with an associated cost for each aircraft part. The higher a part's level, the greater
its cost. Try to beat the high scores for each stage and collect parts with even higher levels than before!
If you find yourself trapped by a hail of bullets and have nowhere left to turn, tap the Bomb button at the
bottom of the screen! This will wipe out all enemy attacks, damage the enemy, and launch a special attack
that covers the entire screen! But you only get three Bombs per day, so use them wisely.
Be careful! Use up all your lives and it’s game over! Fortunately, you recover one life every 5 minutes, so you can
challenge a stage again, even after your lives hit zero. There are 240 stages to play and 120 aircraft parts to get!

It’s all up to you! Play every day to improve your shooting skills and complete every last stage!

It's extremely repetitive, and I've ran into the bullets a few times not knowing they are there, some of them seem to blend in too well, fix this and I'll rate 5 stars, if we could listen to the soundtrack somehow aswell that would be great :D

I have played many like this on the computer. So I am overly exstatic to find one free for Android. Great controls, easy layout, amaziang graphics. This is a must have for those that liked Galaga, and Raiden arcade games.

Aesthetically rendered with non-intrusive ads and payment featured that are actually optional. The high customization allows this game to get better the more you play it. Beautiful and fun, this is an instant favourite.

Was enjoying this to a certain point. Once I started making some good progress, saving money and buying expensive weapons, it starts to get unfair. Your expensive weapons take easy damage, even after easy levels and you end up losing an $80000 weapon after just 1 level sometimes. Progress becomes an unfair joyless experience. I have changed my original ace review and 5*s, to a more crap but fair review. Why punish the player for hard work? Had potential at the start, then it slaps you on the face with it.

While it is not as difficult as advertised, it is still a great game that doesn't make you spend a dime if you dont want to. A comfortable control set up combined with simple but pretty graphics work well from a gameplay standpoint. What they don't tell you is how every stage has a verse of poetry and how the stages have a solid soundtrack.

LG Optimus E980. I have to turn my WiFi off to play the game. Otherwise it crashes constantly. Secondly, the more expensive and powerful your cannons get, the more fragile they become. Try losing a weapon without even getting hit. And if you do get hit, well there goes at least three of them. Uninstalling.

To actually think that this game is great, i'm sadly mistaken because the canons here gets broken for no good reason. I didn't die in the stage and at the result screen it says "cannon broken" seriously?! A newly bought cannon gets easily broken!(2x in a row) It feels like the game will let you gain more then later lose even way more! There's no durability to the weapon to tell if it's near to breaking nor the option to repair it, you just hafta buy a new one...again...and again

Its a great game but it bugs a lot and the levels are getting monotone can jou add 10 more different levels and bosses that switch between the other 10 and while opening the game with wifi is hard so to get daily bonus bypass by opening the app offline then close it then log in on wifi then open it again like pausing your game :/
