Fairune for Android
The battle system is the oddest ive ever come across. All you do is walk into enemies only to lose Life Points amd Gain XP. Its odd and not very enjoyable. I was looking forward to beating things up with my Sword not walking into them and losing my HP in the process.
Game play is great. Level design is awesome. Story is okay. Sound is good. Game is challenging but always makes logical sense. Only problem is that the game crashes when loading/saving so you need to complete the game without closing the app. If it wasn't for that: 5 stars
Cache causes crash on loading also takes repetitive swipes to close app. My time 2:21:40. Also very fun puzzle action rpg mix up. I had to google 4 things total.
Simple, puzzling and large. No need for any long plot-setting sequences, just some small bites of story here and there. You know what you're there for and that some good ol' exploration. 4.9/5 Only "negatives" of note: Boss fight, while fun, doesn't quite fit the theme the rest of the game has and some of the main story paths are insanely difficult to find. Probably 1/3 of my time was spent finding one path one screen out of 30 or so. Hint system of some sort might be useful, though not necessary.
As expected from Japan puzzle game. The puzzles are tricky, even until the ending itself. The only downside is the game crash often during launch, but can be tricked by trying to relaunch again for several times. Note that this game has a lot of hidden passage from the beginning. Moving suspicious object and checking wall can help you to find them.
At first I was trying to figure out how to get to the forest but I had something else to do so I stopped. This Morning when I woke up and tried to play the game it says "Unfortunately, Fairune has stopped working" so I tried again and again but still nothing. I'll try to clear the data and start over again, good thing I was just at the beggining.
Not bad. But it has visual tricks (sometimes mean) that hide the paths. And THAT's supposed to be the puzzle element. If you're stuck, what the heck. Read a walkthrough.
I think the puzzles are OK, nothing new but fine. It's a well made game I just can't get past the auto attack running into enemies mechanic. It's not fun. There is no skill. It's just about knowing when you're going to die and where to heal. It's not gameplay.
This, this game. I am stuck on a part, no big deal, but I have tried everything imaginable. The games mechanics are that the rules are never told, thus, all random ideas have 50% chance of working. And what worked two minutes ago won't (or will, because anything{AND NOTHING AT THE SAME TIME} gos.) work. In short the game doesn't make sense, it's more a game of trial and error, that is what makes the game boring. I'm still trying to crack it. I feel allot of potential in this game, but not worked out very well.
This game is fairly meh so far. It has some charms but the combat system feels like it could get frustratingly overwhelming. I might would like it better on a proper device or gameplay attached.
This is the only mobile game that I've actually felt compelled to binge play & actually felt very satisfied after beating. It's just a quality game. The battle system is a bit strange at first, but you get used to it: Attack by walking into enemy, you can only beat monsters that are at or below your level. Weak monsters give no XP; strong monsters only deal damage; equal level monsters give XP & some damage. Heal @ magic grass. I didn't personally have issues with crashing;try playing offline, it may help?
The game has its radio-hypnosis with harass to play that it screwed my dinner... I found that the game has evil under-texture... I waisted all my day... It has real scary meaning. Heaven Forfend to watch such kind in the real life... I wouldn't recommend for the men who are fighting in Syria today... They will barely reach their resurrection, if they would... I believe that psychiatrist is mentally insane and he never understands that it is his own insanity. AMEN.
This game allowed me to play off and on for a total of one or two hours, and I enjoyed every minute. I thought the simple controls and the level restrictions made it more interesting to explore the world. It has the makings of the retro adventures I remember. However, like other players, the game crashed and wouldn't allow me another second, even when I reinstalled it. But hey, I think it just may be worth $3 on the Nintendo 3DS eShop--assuming there's no more crashing! I'll rate 5 if this is fixed by 2016!
A throwback to simpler times. For anyone who thinks it's hard, just keep trying stuff. That's how games used to be. None of it is too hard to figure out, because there's a finite number of possibilities to try. The puzzle aspect of this game is very similar to Legend of Zelda in its nature, but not in its execution. The execution is unique. The gameplay of Fairune is perfect for a mobile device. My only complaint would be that it lacks immersive mode, which hides the touchscreen buttons during gameplay.
I was amazed by the work they put in this game. From the music to the gameplay itself, it was a really nice experience. It has some moments, like in Legend of Zelda (nes), that I asked myself what to do, but it wasn't long before I put the pieces together and I really must congratulate the devs for this one! Playing this game has been a blast ;)
Played the demo on 3DS. Found out that there is a free version on Android so I downloaded it. It plays pretty much the same as on 3DS, but it lacks the map which is a big help in playing this game to know where the player is at any given time. Anyway, I think I'll just buy the 3DS version. I don't mind paying for a good game.
Cache causes crash on loading also takes repetitive swipes to close app. My time 2:21:40. Also very fun puzzle action rpg mix up. I had to google 4 things total.
I would love to give this the four stars it deserves but it has started crashing. At first it was just after I pushed the quit button or beat the game. Now it won't even open. I'd give it one star if it weren't for the fond memories I have of this game. I'm very sad that this game had fallen do far.
You can't kill any enemies i mean yeah I get you can't kill monsters stronger than you but I kept getting killed by even the slimes! Just don't waste your time.
I played many games that people said that wont start and have bugs lags etc... since I bought this Huawei P8 Lite this is the first game that when I run the app it just shuts down. It looks like a decent game so ill give it more stars when I can play it
This game is really fun to me! It reminds me of an old atari/nintendo game that has better graphics! It's pretty long for a phone game and its so simple you can play it one handed. My only problem is that is force closes on my when I try to open it sometimes, but that's tolerable. Over all I think five stars!

Annoying when you cant find your way. Maybe update the cloud castle entrance because i would of never found that on my own
A fun little action RPG game with a unique battle system. The puzzles are challenging and sometimes ambiguous. The only downsides are it crashes often when I try to launch it, and the final boss fight is a little rough where the action is very different from the rest of the game.
Lost track of time playing this and burned my screen. The control pad at the bottom never moves or changes at all. Now I have a faint impression of it permanently. Wish I hadn't installed this.
Fun game so far, with the occasional crash. Just pause your game to save. Tip for those stuck in the forest maze: go ask the way south to the river, then east. Look for a tree/bush with no roots and walk through it...
If any of you have seen ProJared, you'd know one of his "favourite" games is Hydlide... or at least our favourite game to watch him suffer in... well, just guess how you kill enemies in this game... go ahead, you pull a Jim the Knight and run into them. It's not as stupid as Hydlide, as things die quickly (at least at the start) but you have to take damage to kill things... there are points where you can fully heal, but you still have to get hurt to level up... Uninstalling Hydlide from phone now :)
Its a good game and i enjoy the retro style but it crashes a lot. Almost everything i open the app it crashes. It would also be nice to have a map so i know where i am
I really enjoyed this game. I just finished playing it right now and while playing, I realized it has Legend of Zelda elements with the hidden treasures and such. It was fantastic, I hope you guys can make another game similar to this soon.
I loved this game so much on the web that I bought this much improved versions on both my phone and my 3DS. And it's not just some minor enhancements compared to the web, this is a full on new game that's much larger with a new, bigger map, more items, more everything. Secrets and monsters and bosses, and puzzles, Fairune is an excellent time all around.
It's a cute game. But once I get to the fungus monsters, nothing. All the fungus monsters are blocked off & I can't do anything. There's literally nothing to be done.
In Samsun Galaxy S5 (Lollipop): The game is fun as soon as you don't save it and close. If you do, it will never open again it'll crash every time you try to open it. So either play it all at once or don't.
It's been a long time since i had so much fun with a cell phone game. The game kind of reminded me of the first legend of zelda. It's very well made and the music is pretty good! 10/10 for this masterpiece!
When I was on a high level and I attack weak monsters i don't level up so I don't like the game
It's not about survival or fighting strategy, but solving the game. There are also some "Dark Souls" characteristics - figuring out with no direction. Keeping your level through death, etc.
Better on the 3ds, but it's free and it's great. Puzzles are sort of Legend of Zelda-ish. Really fun, boss battle was too hard for me, but that's part of loving a game. Being challenged by it.
Best game ever
This was a very sharp looking, well polished game that easily would have fit right along side the best titles from the NES. I really liked the (as far as I know) unique combat system that lets you ignore lower level monsters that would otherwise slow you down. The emphasis was on solving the puzzle, finding the next item, etc. Instead. I just wish it weren't so short. Some NPCs to interact with would have been nice but by no means necessary. Please make more games like this.
Much like Hydlide and Ys 1&2 this game is a simple yet great RPG where you don't have to press any button to attack...also avaliable on Nintendo 3DS

DO NOT SAVE AFTER USING THE RAFT until you have gone back over to the other side. I saved after riding on the raft and now am stuck in an area that I can't get out of. The raft is stuck on the other side of the river and I have been playing for long enough that I do not know if i want to start over or just delete it.
