The Horus Heresy: Drop Assault

Overall it's a really fun game. Its a Apocalyptic war Fallout type of game. Has skermishes, good battles, heroes could be better. I also think there should be a way to upgrade heroes from an uncommon status to a higher ranking like common, good, epic an so on. I love the playstyle of the game. Graphics are outstanding, really adding to the WarHammer legacy as it should. Could be better, but I think in time this will be an Editor's Choice. We'll see.

This game if fantastic. It brings the classic RTS style of game play in a way not normally approached, at least in my experience. Addicting, friendly, sometimes irritating(when you lose a fight), but is overall an awesome game. Only one problem. Sometimes, when the videos play(you can watch an ad to gain extra mission rewards, take an hour off build times, ect), it doesn't play and the game restarts. Doesn't crash, just resets back to the opening scene. No error code, no explanation, just restarts.

Used to be my favourite game, until the last update. Devs are totally pandering to level campers, making it impossible for those who have put years into playing to compete with low level players who refuse to advance. Updates target and nerf units and tactics only available to advanced players. They even go so far as to reduce campers in level to make it easier on them in response to their complaining. PATHETIC.

Developers treat players unfair setting up unclear and secret game rules and prioritizing some players basing on their unpublished factors.Quote: " Video view payouts are not at a guaranteed fixed rate and depend on a number of factors we cannot disclose at this time. The ad payouts you are receiving are as intended, and may be adjusted up or down at our discretion". While I pay the same money as others I expect the same profits.

Still having the issue where the app needs to reatart after a few runs, now the app wont let me do anything that requires playing an add, such as the free recruit hero, forge relic, or +50% after a battle. Im now having an issue where the app is not finding my internet connection even though it is there

KISS. Keep it simple stupid. Haywire reduction by 4 seconds is ridiculous. I've forged warGear for MONTHS. and haven't had a haywire reduction chance. a 4 second reduction completely eliminates haywire. Even a 3 second would give me a .01 shot at not being completely dismembered.

Basic base building game, attacking and defending for resources. But then you get a whole bunch of extra options and some semi single player action attacking NPC and real player bases. The real selling point is the ability to select and control your troops in battle. Like a microRTS. Also you don't need to spend money to get anywhere, but this game deserves to be a purchase instead of free. Adding to this for rewards.

An excellent strategy game, plenty of fresh challenges. New update provides interesting options and customisation. The Revenge option makes base raiding and defense more interesting and profitable. Only issue is occasional lag when raiding.

Wonderful game! But, the matchmaking is... Well, it's extremely common for me to be matched against players 4 or 5 levels higher than me. Also, the NPC bases are taken by the enemy a little bit too fast. Other than that, 10/10.

I now reached player level 51 but why is it that the damage/sec of my units upgraded at level 19 were decreased at 145 dam/sec that used to be 300 dam/sec. i cannot even beat player with level 44 against me at already level 51. my units' power and speed decreased by the programmer. the game itself is a BIG cheat. so disgusting and disappointing. it takes a long long time to upgrade your troops and buildings and upon reaching level 51 everything went bad. it is like you are back to player level 9 only. user name, warlion player level 51

Last update puts the nails in the coffin. The fact that players at low level can max out heros and quickly clear bases without opposition or losses destroys the competitive aspect of the game.

Great game great concept.Fooking poor programme integration.Understandable that game makers want to make money from ads but integration is so poor that it is ridiculous.Game crashes consistently,bonus buttons are totally freaking screwed.Not funny.Somebody should get fired. Took the trouble to send a bug report on something as important as getting machine spirits. Reply was it is a problem caused by a 3rd party vendor and we cant do anything about it. OMG!!!That is like McDonalds saying we serve expired burger patties because our vendors sell it to us and we cant do anything about it!! Ever thought about CHANGING VENDORS rather than paying for incompetence??!? Start behaving like an international company and stop acting like you work out of your garage. Even Apple was customer centric when they were working out of their garage. Whats your excuse?

There have been some issues recently but it seems those that made and run the game listen. This is easily the best of this style of game. If your a GW fan too, it's a must

Plays like boom beach but I like the aesthetic more. Kinda wish there was a cash skin thing to customize your army to be a different one or just a free choose your color thing.

Rts style game for good times. Sad that commercials play for nearly every bonus. Not good for lower processor speed devices.

Stays true to the 40k universe. Diverse units and tactics. Terrible pvp though. Last 30 matches was against players 4-5 levels above me.

I rather enjoy this game. I have only started to go through the paces since I am not much good at RTS games, but what I have explored seems well done. Only four stars since it abruptly dies from time to time, but I definitely enjoy this game. Now if only it would stop trying to bribe me to give 5 star review.

Maybe come up with a way to trade gene seed for something else. I have over 2500, there is absolutely no way to use even half of that.

I have played the game for a few days. Good graphics, good gameplay and good controls overall. The only thing that isn't good is the stability of the application. The game runs fine for a couple of days and then its starts having connectivity issues on the 4th day onwards. The error would pop up whenever I try to do anything such as attack or recon or forge etc. Furthermore, when I try to forge and rally for free every six hours, the game doesn't allow it. After the connectivity error, I would not be able to get past the loading screen. Tried to clear cache but it wouldn't solve the said issue. Tried to contact the developers on Facebook but received no reply. I'm not one of those elite players that bank on this game but I'm sure I have contributed in one way or another through ad revenue. Please provide a solution, developers, and I will improve my ratings. Have a nice day

I do love this game. It is a fun game that like it's template, Boom Beach, is pretty addictive. My one complaint about the game (or two complaints) is that when I get a daily reward it crashes the game occasionally, going into the map view crashed my game a couple times (3 complaints) and the fact that I cannot decide to commit heresy against His name and switch my loyalty to Horns Lupercal as a Loyalist in His name! I would like to see the ability to declare my allegiance to the dark gods if I wish, because I love Abbadon and didn't realize he was a hero unit until yesterday, and it doesn't feel right to be a Loyalist and have Abbadon the Despoiler be leading my units into battle in His name

I used to hate building games. But this one brings me back every hour.

The game could only be better if you could upgrade individual squads with different wargear Edit: Predators should be much more powerful, I understand that making them similar to what they are I'm the codex would make balancing the game difficult, but as is they suck

Best base strategy game seen yet, lots of features wish the others had! Real PvP! Then based on WH40K. Good stuff! Only complaint, tablet is best, text jammed in gets small!

Game keeps crashing and will not go past the loading screen. I had to uninstall and now cannot reload. It was a fun game otherwise.

The more I play, the less I enjoy. The game is unbalanced and clearly skewed towards earning the devs money

I'm an avid fan of the Warhammer 40k universe and have always been interested in how the Chaos Space Marines started out, so this game appealed to me. My previous review claimed that this game was a cut-and-paste of other mobile base building games. Forget it. After having spent some more quality time with this game, I can easily say that my earlier review was unjust. The variety of heroes in the game offer a large variety of tactical variety and the skirmish mode is fun yet challenging. I am getting lost in this game. Pick it up. The only negative thing I have to say about this game is that it crashes more often than I'd like

Game has been ruined by the level campers and Developers recent changes to heroes and troops. Unless you are willing to spend lots...avoid.

The only issue is weekends, everything slows. Not sure if theyre micromanaging spend or are unsure of what they have but its decent progression with slowed conection when busy.

Lots of troop choices and tactics. HQ Units are handy, varied and add more flexibility to the gameplay. This game is a must for Dawn Of War fans. Best on tablet.

The new update crashes the app all the time now with message about having no internection connection. Whever they did in this update has made the game completly unstabke now

It's fun. And kind plays like Clash of clans. But has a lot more things to do.

Although derivative of others, the 40k aspect, unique twists, and ability to win without paying is good. Held my attention longer than most.

Good game, the textures and modeling are great. The strategic combat differentiates greatly from the inspiration, though the attack rate is a bit high.

Solid 40K game, nails the visuals and tone. Gameplay is good if occasionally frustrating when trying to get troops to target. Not too difficult to get premium currency. All in all, an excellent mobile game.
