WHAT IS MEGA MAN
The original Mega Man captivated users at the time of its release with its challenging gameplay and innovative concept of taking the weapons from your enemies, then using them to exploit weaknesses in the bad guys yet to come.
MODES
This version features a choice of two difficulty modes.
・Normal Mode - (Unlimited continues) The continue screen is displayed whenever Mega Man dies. Selecting Continue allows you to restart from the last checkpoint you passed in the current stage.
・Hard Mode - This challenging mode limits your number of continues, and enemy attacks deal more damage. There are also fewer checkpoints within stages.
OPTIONS (The following settings can be adjusted in-game.)
・Sound - Increase the number to raise the volume.
・Vibration - Set to "On" to have your device vibrate when Mega Man takes damage. (Default setting: On) Note: This option will not be displayed on devices with no vibration function.
・Attack - Auto: Hold the attack button for rapid-fire Mega Buster shots. Manual: Each press of the attack button fires one Mega Buster shot. Tap repeatedly for rapid-fire shots.(Default setting: Auto)
・Speed - Choose between Normal and High to adjust gameplay speed.
・Key Config - Change position of the in-game attack button and jump button.
GAMEPLAY TIPS
Search Elec Man’s stage for the Magnet Beam, which lets you place platforms wherever you like! To access the Magnet Beam, you’ll need to defeat Guts Man and get his weapon, or defeat Elec Man and play through the stage again with his weapon.

The way this game controls makes certain important and iconic ways to play impossible. You can't triple burst shot midair, the switching forms sometimes happens when you use the buster, and it just all around plays poorly. The only redeeming quality about this game is the infinite lives because without it everyone would quit playing it after the first boss for sure.

This is, by far, the worst port of Megaman i've had the privelage of playing. It's enemy placements and behavior were altered, physics have been made wonk causing bosses to be significantly easier, and the best part is that all of it is hindered by the most horrific of consistent framerates. It doesn't even remotely run above 15 or 20 fps, unlike the 60 fps NES classic. If ypu want to play this game, anything is a better alternative to this trash.

Here's the pathetic response from the developer: "I'm sorry you are not satisfied with the games. Pease consider playing the games in fast mode. Some player like the experience better."

Everyone saying "oh the frame rate is unbearable" is most likely a spoiled kid who hasn't even dreamed of less than 200 fps. The frame rate is more than manageable - I beat the game a day after downloading it. Great game, Capcom, especially for a mobile port.

Runs fine on galaxy s7 edge and even better on galaxy tab 3 . Otherwise also runs amazingly smooth in fast mode just needs controller support

The port is very faithful to the original. Great music awesome sound, controls are all good, but oh man that frame rate. It is so bad that it makes this game pretty much unplayable. I'm playing on the LG V20, so it's not lacking specs. Please fix this and the stars will go way up.

Bought the game, played it for a few minutes, and then quit because of horrible frame rate issues that make the game ten times harder than it should be. My cutting edge Samsung galaxy S7 should NOT be having issues with this. Proceeded to download a simple emulator on my phone for 2,50€ and playing the game on that instead, because unlike this official Capcom port, it works flawlessly and is an absolute joy to play.

It is MegaMan 1, just like on NES! Except, a lot of improvements have been made that are bound to make newer gamers comfortable. I'm a veteran MegaMan fan, and I have no problem going through the original game. And even to me this was pleasant. I am not sure why they kept the framerate this low. It does look bad, just as bad as in the trailers. This is such a shame. Fixing THAT alone would have made it a lot better for basically everyone. The controls, this might apply to all other MegaMan games, but they are not that clever. I wish there was a secondary shoot button on the left, allowing me to jump with the right thumb, and shoot comfortably with the left thumb. (for those moments you have to jump and shoot but not necessarily be moving) Thanks Capcom! But please make updates. If there ever was a time an update was necessary, this would be it.

Could have been great. If not for the horrible frame rate which on stages that require precision can make it extremely difficult. Also smoother controlling would have been nice too. It feels like a half committed port. Also lacks AndroidTV support which again could have made this great and the $12 (all games) well worth it.

Why are you all hating? I mean, sure, it isn't the BEST version, but it’s either this way or no other way that I play Mega Man on the road. Nice job! (P.S: Go for Bomb Man or Guts Man first. You’ll be glad you did!)
