商売・金貸し・建築・農業・結婚・育児・戦闘・ダンジョンの冒険が出来る自由さはそのままに、さらに以下のようにパワーアップしました！

・アイテム数は前作「道具屋と魔王」の1.5倍！アイテム図鑑もあり、コンプリート率もわかります。
・街の人の数も前作から1.5倍に！そして街の人それぞれに固有の技・セリフがあります。
・道具屋だけでなく、レストラン経営もできます。

なお、前作とはストーリーはほとんどつながっていないため、本作が初めてでも楽しめます。
