Rogue for Android

Played this as a child and was really excited to find an app.....but once installed, I can't get past the opening screen :( have a Samsung s6 and when I press enter dungeon just puts me back to the installation screen. Very disappointing :(

This was literally the only true Rogue on Android and now it's gone. It hasn't been updated in years and i doubt it will. I hate the fact i'm even writing this review because i truly enjoyed this game on my JellyBean

Works pretty well on my Android 4.1 phone. Still crashes occasionally. I can attest now that it is possible to win.

Sure wish someone would patch this. It crashes at start-up every time. Oh well. 3 stars for the attempt. I used to play Rogue, Nethack and Larn on the PDP-11. I feel old now. :(

Looking for the source it's harder as always expected

was looking forward to this game, but like many others, i couldn't get past the opening screen. it just freezes up. i'm running android 7.1.2 on a nexus 5x.

This looks and plays like a port of the original rogue game & So far it's the best rogue game in android that I've yet to find!

Game doesn't work at all on my device

Installs but won't run on my acer z220. I know it's a cheap phone but...

Downloaded and for whatever reason whenever I try to enter the dungeon it automatically exits.

Unfortunately I just upgraded from a Galaxy Tab 2 to a Galaxy Tab S2 and it no longer works :-( Really great to play this game once more. Faithful reproduction of the original. UI could have been better thought out and with better/more short cuts. I also miss the ability to name scrolls/potions if there effect isn't obvious and the ability to list what the know about scrolls/potions.

It brings up the inital screen but when you click to play the app just closes.

The app crashed every time I clicked on "enter the dungeon". I even tried rebooting my phone, but that didn't help. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S5. I really don't like leaving negative reviews, but if I can't even get to play the game due to crashing issues, it's worth warning others.

A better help screen or a proper tutorial for people new to the game would be nice. But what really bugs me is the lack of rebindable keys (for physical keys) and customizable virtual dpads for tablet users.

l installed this game and tried to play it. However, all I got was a black screen and an app crash.

Doesn't work on a Xperia Z tablet

I've enjoyed many hours playing this, but it unfortunately no longer works on my phone. A little more time making playability better would be appreciated by many.

Everytime I try to enter the dungeon, it crashes.

100% Crash after entering dungeon on HTC One M7 (5.0.2)

'Enter the Dungeon' button results in closure. Very sad as I played the original many, many years ago...

Would love to play but does not work on the galaxy S5

The game play is good but the control pads are white and you can't see through them. Pls fix.
