About jedufa.GE.Ninja
Ninja calculator for Galactic Empires.
This app calculates times of travel and return based on the equations of ship travel in the game. Doc Watson has confirmed that it is legal to use the app in GE (2013.05.27).
Here is a description on how to use the calculator:
[INPUTS]
Ship selection
- Select all ships in your target's flying fleet or just the slowest ship. Example: if there are RIPs in the fleet, you may select only RIP because this will be the slowest ship of the fleet, defining the rest of the parameters.
General
- Checking this box will give you the times in function of the 20% base-speed increase.
Engine levels (hyper, imp, comb)
- Set the levels of your targets, they will impact the speed of the fleet. Again here, if you know the slowest ship's engine type, you may only enter the related level (e.g. only Hyperspace for RIPs).
Event Factor
- Here you may select normal fleet speed or a fractional increase of it, as it happens in Events.
Origin and Destination
- Enter the origin and destination of the fleet. The coordinates are always relative, meaning that there are no differences between [3.250.4 to 3.250.5] and [5.181.9 to 5.181.8].
Duration at Recall
- This is the remaining fleet travel time that was last seen on the lanx screen before the target recalled its fleet. Typically, you lanx continuously your target until it recalls it. It is necessary to know this remaining duration time in order to determine where was the fleet on its travel path, and then calculate the time it will take to hit back its origin.
- If set to zero, the calculator returns the full duration of the travel between origin and destination, which may be used for other purposes. For instance, you may use this characteristic to know in how much time will a fleet return from a local recycling mission (once you have seen the debris field taken after many continuous overview screen refreshes).
Recall Time
- The recall time is your own time at recall, or debris field pick-up. It does not have to be game time, all it does is to add the duration until return to the time you put there, so that you can obtain the exact return time.
[OUTPUTS]
Return Duration
- The return duration is the length of time needed for the fleet to return to its origin. It is was a deploy mission that has been recalled, then this is the duration until that (now invisible) fleet arrives back to its origin. When "Duration at Recall" is zero, this output parameter returns the total duration between origin and destination
Return Time
- The exact return time of the fleet, based on the calculated flight duration and recall time.
