U-Boat Simulator is a game set in World War 2, you can control a U-Boat VII-C German submarine, search enemy ships and engage in dangerous battles to sink them with torpedoes.
This is not an “arcade” game but a complex and realistic simulator, a bit difficult at the beginning but after a little practice you will enjoy hours and hours of fun.
It has options that you can enable to make the game more realistic and difficult, you can look around your submarine with the 3D views, and so on…

Here is a brief explanation:
You can scroll and zoom the map with your fingers, its borders are highlighted by yellow lines on the edges.
Your submarine is green, enemies are red, allies are blue and neutral units are black, while the units not yet identified are gray.
The submarine is indicated with a diamond and a cross, warships with a diamond and commercial vessels with a square.
On the top left of the screen there are the indicators with the speed, course and depth.
Clicking on it opens a window to edit them and MOVE THE SUBMARINE.
Always at the top, there are the boxes with the health, the batteries, the oxygen and fuel, the date and time acceleration.
Clicking on the box acceleration is possible to increase the speed of the game.
On the bottom and left there is the map scale.
On the bottom of the screen there are buttons to go on the map, to go to the screen of the charging torpedoes, to bring up the window for launching torpedoes and guidelines, the button to exit the game and on the right the button to put in pause the game.
Clicking on any unit, on the left some usefull informations will appear about its distance, course, speed etc..
The fuel is consumed only browsing on the surface, the batteries and the oxygen staying underwater (they can be recharged at the surface), health decreases when you bang against a ship, when hit by the guns of the enemy ships or near breaks out of depth charges.
This is the Full version of the game (not free).
Before buying the full game, it is better to try the free demo version that contains some limitations, it is better to download it just to have an idea of the game and to test if this game is compatible with your smartphone :

Wow! What a great game. Just proves that fantastic graphics don't always a great game make. This is a great U-Boat sim that costs less than a crappy cup of coffee at Starbucks. That said, however, kicking the graphics up a notch, or adding some textures would be nice :) Suggestions: Maybe a campaign / career mode? Maybe some different boats? Maybe some historical missions?

I love this game, but now that the terrain is out I'd like to know when there will be ports or towns just to add to the landscape. Maybe even a few simple tasks like sink commercial ships or warships. And maybe you can add in some submarine modificatioms, like longer oxygen time, better battery, etc.Thanks for this great game.

Sometimes when I am hunting ships and a lone small merchant is spotted by sensors I will go to the location and be exactly where the game says it but there is no ship there. But otherwise its like the silent hunter of the mobile world WELL DONE

Fantastic game! It is a little tough at first (like Dimitri says) but it's real cool once you get the hang of it. Hope we can add some more goodies like upgrades (Alberich coating, Bold canisters, schnorkels, etc.) in the future.

I am a 13 year old who likes warfare(I play miniature table top games and I like the German Kriegsmarine ) and this game is amazing, both fun and realistic. I look forward to missions(simple ones hunting down ships to the hard ones like killing a very protected convoy). I also found some tactics hunting down ships for example at their backs surfacing and going around the convoy then diving 10 m and wait for the convoy to pas you and take out the important and powerful ships.

This game concept is so cool...whats left is just some more addons like more sub types available for you to play, as you know German U-Boats are so cool, especially Type VII, XXI, IX, I & don't miss out the coastal U-Boats too...Next is the vessel models, in which not all vessel should look the same, the allies and enemies. Hope you can prioritise that first, looking forward to that.

Tried the demo..failed miserably, read the instructions and had moderate success. found out the key features of this game (for repairs & reload/refuel) are in the paid version.....it's totally worth the price of a cup of coffee for a solid phone game to kill time. fix request: When I hit a target head on with torpedo's the targets health is not updating properly and I tend to fire more torpedo's only to find out it was already sinking. Feature suggestion: ability to course correct on map and view screens

I'm not usually one to take the time to rate apps, but this game is well deserving of an excellent rating. A lot of time and effort has been put into this game. I've been looking for a good sub simulator for a good while, and this is exactly what I've been looking for. Well worth the money for the full version!

Obviously a labour of love from the developer. Really fun gameplay. All the essentials for a super sub Sim. Clever and simple. Just what I've been waiting for. Well done and thank you for all your hard work. May i suggest making the look and sound of the sea itself a tiny bit more realistic to enhance the feeling of travel? Perhaps with some bobbing, waves and rust on the sub. I'd also like to rescue those in lifeboats! Oh and a swordfish decal! It would however be only the cherry on a super cake.

An absolutely great game for killing time annd immersing yourself into a U-Boat. Never had this much fun hunting down convoys and large warships. It certainly has the elements of a sub sim and recreates that experience into a mobile phone game. Although its graphics are not great, it is still worth buying it because this game seriously immerses you into the gameplay. From the time I first downloaded the free version until now, it still remains as one of the best sub sim games for mobile phones out there. Go ahead and buy it, I am certain you will never regret it.
