Vice VIC-20 Emulator for Android
Every thing works great except for the keyboard interface. Any thing that requires keyboard is difficult and slow to use. Joystick/button controls work awesome. Menu system is pretty simple and easy to figure out. Thank you!
my old vic 20 back in action!
Can't navigate to my directory and don't know which option to choose to load the cartridge.
Overall, great emulator.
Awful interface. Unusable. Avoid.
Overall, great emulator.
No key board no instructions completly unuseable
Had trouble but figuring it out, but I'm getting there.
It's a good emu
How do you work it
This wasted hours of my life. I had a cart file on my phone and couldn't get it loaded. It wants me to type the path but it's only doing one keystroke at a time and the keyboard comes up at the wrong time...There's no way to browse files on your phone and when you get to the 'type path' stage and hit the button that usually makes the keyboard pop up, nothing happens. So frustrated. Awful
This is a good attempt but sadly let down by a strange and unintuitive UI. I did get games to load but cannot get any sort of joystick response. The 'circles' on the screen for cursor movement and selecting things are strange and not immediately obvious. It needs to be more like C64 frodo which is a joy and simple to use.
Terrible
Love having a Vic emu and thank you for the developers work, but have to give it a low score simply because the appalling user interface leaves it unusable. Also it runs ridiculously fast. Have slowed it a little but still it is way faster than a Vic 20 would run. But that matters little as when you get a game to load, and have figures out the correct memory config using the haphazard unintuitive interface, I have no idea how to use the games. The keyboard is useless and joystick options do nothing.

Interface needs work. Cart loaded fine but how to use virtual keyboard? Also could you use a bluetooth joystick? No crashes so far on galaxy tab 4. Having a vic20 as a child and owning 2 I cant wait to see this develop more. Well done matey.
Overall, great emulator.
Overall, great emulator.
Working great on a low-end (
Currently unusable due to the terrible interface. Nice to see the old familiar startup screen but unable to load files. Hope games that required extra memory like Perils of Willy are supported as they were excellent. Please keep working on it!
Try to make the user interface better maybe?
Nice to see this, hope you get the time to create a better ui. Something like Zed Ex, with an overlay semi transparent, skinned keyboard would be awesome.

I want to like this emulator. It's clean. But the interface just breaks it. Anything you try just brings up keyboards. I forgot how to load a cartridge up. Scrolling up and down with an arrow key when there's a whole touch screen at your disposal makes no sense. Most of the cartridges I tried just show garbled graphics.
