Artemis Spaceship Bridge Sim for Android
This made a recent 31st bday spectacular. I cannot say enough. Keep on developing and i would be happy to pay another three dollars for a remake by the same developers. Runs great on asus tft101 with zero lag, cooling issues, or battery issues.
Phenomenal game in every way! Playing games with friends doesn't get any better than this! The app crashes after the latest upgrade to the pc Artemis version so it isn't very useful to me right now - hopefully the app update isn't far behind.
The app description should be changed so that the first line reads: "Note: Not a standalone game. Requires 6 paid copies on 6 devices to play". That little tidbit shouldn't be buried in the long expanded app description. It is critical information!
I hope this is a temporary review. I literally can't play this game, because I can't type the server name in, because the keyboard disappears every time I go to type on it. I'm on an Alcatel One Touch. Please, please address this somehow. I've even found people interested in playing with me!
This game fits full-size Artemis onto a tiny screen about as well as I could expect. Not as good as a real computer, but playable and portable. However, I ran into a very nasty bug - if you take damage, the screen zooms in suddenly and you can't see any of the buttons you need to click on. Which makes it impossible to do important things like target weapons in a battle. So in its current state, I can only recommend the phone version for roles that don't have a lot of urgency in combat. It's great for Captain, Science, and Comms, and the touchscreen interface is great for those roles, but Helm and Weapons are a bad idea.
I can't type a server address, the keyboard disappears as soon as I try to type something. Waste of money when I can't connect.
I dropped my rating to a single star, due to the fact that it is so far behind the pc version meaning you either have to downgrade your pc version or forget about using tablets and other portable devices as part of your bridge. Keep it updated better and then I'll put the rating back up, but as it is now it makes this app fairly useless.
Crashes. Constantly. I got to play for a grand total of 1 minute after 6 2-minute restarts. I spent more time waiting for the game to reload than I did actually playing.
Excellent game, though unplayable with the PC version until it gets updated to the same version. Took over a year before it was updated to match the PC version last time.
Version currently out of sync with PC version, causing game to crash when connecting to a PC server.
Great game but it isnt up to date with pc and keeps crashing on my tablet could this be helped/fixed.
Well it's fun for about 10 min then kicks us out the rest of the time I would give it 4
The only wish I have is that it would run on my Nexus player. It would be a fantastic server and main screen when playing in the living room.
I mean come on people
Pc game is great but the app is unplayable because it's not compatible with the game
Pain from the initial set-up between PC and iOS/Android aside, this is great fun.
Can't play. Crashes incessantly.
Best game ever but keep in mind best play multiplayer must have at least 2 devices
Awesome game to play with friends. We frequently get 6 or more together and battle
IT IS NOT UPDATED WITH THE PC VERSION
Wanna LARP a spaceship bridge with your homies? Download this!
Why is incompatibile with Nvidia Shield TV?!
This game is a blast. I play it on PC and it's almost as fun on my droid.
Really so much fun!
Great game! Looking forward to Fighters combat!
Finally up to date with PC.
Love love love it
Artemis is really great fun if you can put together a good crew. It takes some getting used to, but has potential for some pretty deep gameplay. The graphics leave something to be desired, and you are really dependant on getting some friends together, but once it comes together is it ever fun!
This is not in any way related to the Trek universe, but it is far and away the best representation of it in a game.
Works great, except for issues with touch detection at the bottom of the screen when you're at the helm. The option to control several stations at once makes it great for when you don't have 6 people.
I mean come on people
Fun game, would be great if it was available for Android TV (shield tv) to be able to use as the server though.
So good! Update fixed everything!
Great game but captian needs to have a better role than just looking over the ship.
Need more games to think outside the box.
Finally up to date with PC.
Amazing
OMG. The 2.400 version is out! SO looking forward to this. I've started a local Artemis SBS group that meets at a barcade. We've been running 2.1x for a while due the heterogeneous environment. You're doing a great job! Thanks for letting me live out my dreams of a serving on a Starship! These things would be on my wishlist a) include an option for a countdown timer for all or some stations so they have an idea of when the timed mission is ending b) performance tuning for Android devices - 1GB devices get severely lagged during gameplay c) create a 'brig' so that I can throw disobedient/mutinous crew members into it <- I'm only half kidding about that one!
So happy for the update! I have been using this app as the Captain's armchair controls in my group.

I typically use my phone as a server, and use my computer as the console, and it works really well for a game designed to be used by at least 2 people. However, ever since the v.2.5.1 update was applied to my computer version, I have been experiencing problems using the jump drive. Please come out with the update soon!
