I'NOC - The Offline Challenge for Android
i’NOC is a fun, tricky application, that is a „turn your mobile internet off for a couple hours” challenge. Test yourself, how long can you take without Wi-fi and MOBILE NET, then invite your friends to complete the challenge! Do you have friends who can’t live without the network, not even for 10 minutes? Complete the 2, 4 or 6 hours period, and they will have to be able to take the same amount of time without network as you did! Bad Mentors will do any and everything to fail the challenge. Sound easy? Try out!
If you really feel like you are an internet addict, and you want to quit a funny way, Offline Network Mode is for you!
Challenge rules:
1. You can start the challenge of your own free will, only to challenge some of your friends.
2. If you are challenged, you have to fulfill the task! Don’t forget, once you are done, you can choose your victims.
3. You have to turn Wi-fi and MOBILE NET off for this period. The application can detect any network!
4. If you connect to the network within the specified time, you lose the challenge!
5. Don’t cheat! If you got the 6 hours challenge, you have to complete 6 hours too! If you only complete the 2 hours period, that is the result you will share at the end of the challenge, so you will get caught!
6. If you receive a system message, the countdown stops, and it will only restart if you click on „Skip”, so you can’t complete the challenge while you are asleep!
7. Whoever challenged you already went through it, so be fair!
8. The application runs in the background, so you will be able to use your phone! The only thing that is not allowed is to connect the network!
9. You have to fulfill the challenge in 24 hours or in a limited period of time.
Offline Network Mode:
In Offline Network Mode funny characters encourage and support you, so you can successfully complete the period defined by yourself. Just like a workout, you can gradually increase the period from 3 up to 12 hours. Obviously you can’t quit like this, because internet is a good thing, but if sometimes you feel like you are being sucked in by the network too much, you can take a playful break like this.
It is most useful when you are going out, so you can pay attention to your friends who are actually there with you, instead of being on your phone. Talk, don’t text!
