Great game to play, but you have to have very quick reflexes to shoot down the fast moving aliens!! The game soon gets insanely difficult due to the aliens going too fast. The controls could be a lot better too! Very fiddly, which is why I rate it only 3 stars. Can anyone beat my score of 11'280 points?

This would be a five-star review if the controls were half decent. As it is, one-star, which is a shame as I love this game.

Controls are horrible!! I was really looking ofrward to showing my son this classic game. Fired it up and all looked good until we tried to use the left/right controller - just horrendous.

A very classic and awesome game, ruined by terrible touch controls. Seriously, touch controls have never been the best things ever but this contains some of the worst controls i have ever tried to use. Its horrid and the makers need to go back and change it as if this is what they class as acceptable, then i shuddrr to think how shoddy there other stuff must be. Avoid if you like this game.

Don't listen to the other reviews . This game is top notch retro at its finest. For those who can't use the controls do this . Place phone on a flat surface and use your two forefingers instead of thumbs . Remember it's a retro game ! Did you ever play space invaders back in the day with your thumbs. ........ no ! You used your forefingers. So go for it and relive your youth .

This brings me back. I love the way it plays. Just one thing is it possible to make the control buttons a bit larger

arcade game

From the very little I've played, this is a true reproduction of the arcade classic. However, I can't recommend it because the directional control is...well...there is NO directional control. You have to keep your thumb positioned perfectly on the left-right virtual stick, or you'll either be stuck in place, or move in the wrong direction, at the wrong time. Programmers, please fix this problem and release an update for those who paid for the game, only to be totally disappointed. PLEASE FIX THIS. Thanks.

Wished the movement button was lower or better made

Retro 80s game

I remember this arcade version at School. Simple but effective game. Hamster put a lot of thought in to replicating the look of the game but none in to the controls. If they had any class they would issue an update to address the almost catastrophic controls. Don not buy until this has been addressed.

I remember this game from back in the day and it's just as I remember it, but it's crippled by unresponsive controls which unfortunately ruins the gameplay, please fix!!!

The.controls a bit hard but with a little work easy to master.

I have an Android Samsung Note 3. It used 47 percent of the power on the phone drained it in about an hour. My phone was red hot even with the application off. I love the game, but the application SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good game but on screen joystick in the way, could do with having complete touch screen ability added, a move to SD card ability and onscreen joystick re positionable and re sized.

Controls need to be better.Perhaps have a middle control for Fire...And have the left and right controls for operating the Missile.
