Magic Square

An Android game based on Mystic Square (Noyes Palmer Chapman - 1874).

The goal is to arrange the pieces in which an image has been fragmented into in the square frame that contains them. One of the fragments is removed and this free space is used to move the other surrounding fragments.

As a guide for the player, an image on the left is shown with the fragments ordered but with three different color gradations: 1) sharp and 2) transparent, if the fragment with the same position in the puzzle on the right corresponds to the image or not, and 3) negative, corresponding to the missing fragment.
The fragmentation can be selected either in 9 or 16 pieces, for two complexity levels.
Note:
• The image is selected randomly from a server, or from a local group, in the event of unavailability of Internet access
• Only half of the random distributions of the pieces may lead to getting it ordered; so, to always ensure a solution, the game starts with ordered fragments which are then disordered until none of the fragments is in its original position.
