FreeBalls for Android
A nice physics/math demo app. In balls mode you can see different mathematical aspects of stacking problem like voids and faults and the way they form and move. You can also see some effects of energy transfer and wave movements. In liquid mode, you can see some aspects of fluid dynamics, wave movements, reflections and wave interactions,as well as energy transfer and pressure. Performance is surprisingly good considering the number of interactions that need to get calculated. I wish developers would continue on and add features like ability to change the shape of the box or add objects in.... Basically I want a fluid dynamics simulator :)
Haha, loved it. Oddly satisfying. :D I would definitely recommend it if you're just bored and would like to invade other people's space by turning your device round' and round', you should get this.
Easy to pick up and put down, and great for time when you need to clear your mind. 8 never leave reviews, but I love this app.
Simply awesome game or I'd say best app for passing boring time. Nice graphics and physics. Everything is perfect and I like watching balls falling as I rotate my device. Simple, funny, awesome physics based app.
This app is great. You can loose yourself just messing around for ages and it's so relaxing. I highly recommend this for anyone who needs a time out from the busy world we live in.
Nothing more than a physics/gravity app with balls. However good fun and doesn't use much memory or require any permissions.
So satisfying and cool. I showed my bff Amanda Salas this game and now we are both obsessed with this game. We are both playing this right now!I just wish that there where more games like this one,but other wise, it is an amazing app! Keep up the good work!
No ads anywhere, good controls, good graphics, phenomenal physics, very small file size... Basically you have a screen with little colored circles. You can tap the screen and throw the circles, or enable screen rotation and they slosh around like water. Very simple controls. There is an option screen that varies the amount of balls and thier size.
Haven't downloaded anything in a while but was looking for something simple and relaxing to wind down. Love this app! Downloaded it, played it, immediately came back to put a review. Colorful, fun, simple, entertaining enough to pass the time waiting on whatever.. I just love it :) I could see kids loving this too. Great to keep them occupied in the car ;)
I feel like this game was ment for people who like stuff like fidget spinners or fidget cubes, while its not very funny, it is odly charming just to throw balls around a little box. I'd love to see more features in the future. Dedinitely an app i'll keep installed. Very cool. Keep it up!
I got a new phone recently and I had lost track of this app. Now let me be honest with you, the UI (user interface) is easy to use although it looks crappy and low budget. That being said I love this app. I was super happy to see it on my suggested apps today cause I really missed having this app in my life. I tend to use it when I'm upset (which is often), it helps me feel more calm and it keeps my mind off of dumb things I shouldn't be worrying about. This app is amazing. Life saver.
Tiny, efficiently coded app. Simple to control the basic parameters and supports multi-touch. Would be nice to have variable surface tension, since ball clumps always fall apart after releasing finger. Could have a mode that simulates sand or a mixture of sand falling down and bubbles falling up to recreate those liquid sand art picture frame gadgets.
This is a diversion, not a game. You fidget with it, not play with it. And it's great! Possible enhancement: ball color indicates density so that the colors would somewhat sort as you juggle like those real life sand tippy things.
I've just been opening it and playing with it like someone does with a pool or a bath. It's been good for stress and clearing my mind. Basic physics sim, but significantly more zen than some actual meditation techniques.
I missed these small physic demo apps. There used to be a thing called "Net Sim" where you could play with a virtual net. I think this is that demo on steroids. It is an amazing app and a great time killer. I would like to see this as a live wallpaper at some point though.
This is not only entertaining in the liquid mode but it'll also tell you how fast your video is in Frames Per Second with its Benchmark Tester! There more particles you use the slower the action which is usually bad but I consider it Slow-mo to watch the action! The only thing is that I don't know what the Physical Iterations do?
This is the most realistic ball simulation I have ever experienced, and it was good preparation for my task. It is day 52 of the experiment and the balls have already accepted me as one of their own. However, I no longer think I can do what I can here to accomplish. Do not attempt to follow me. I am one of them now.
This isnt a game, its a nice little graphic display of physics and pretty. But all the raves about best thing ever! Lol... Either the developer has a ton of friends or people are getting paid for giving 5 star reviews.
Richard Feynman's cellular automata, the thinking machine explained that hexagones were sufficient to simulate fluid dynamic. A bubble caught in the crystal can be corrected by shaking the phone... Simulating a gentle heating
EXCEPTIONAL!!! Isn't a game although it is mesmerizing and has a very calming effect. If I find a particular setting that I really like I take a screenshot so I can do the same effect again. So many variables. I can spend some good time on it and not feel like I wasted time. I LOVE there are no ads and it asks for no permissions.
And it is fun to play with, but if i cannot set it as live wallpaper it gets boring after a few minutes.. I don't even get it how can you miss on such a game changing functionality...
I'm not really sure I understand how anyone could rate this lower than 5 stars. This is a Mindless time-waster. But I am in absolute love with it. Thank you very much
Works great on my GS5, but it can't correctly detect the orientation on my Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. It thinks that the right side of the screen is the "bottom", even with the orientation option turned on. Too bad because it looks great otherwise. :
Runs fast, and you can set the display-physics decoupling. Cool benchmark tool. Suggestions for improvements: Separate settings for liquid mode. Customisable compressibility. Adding obstacles.
Great little time waster, also great for distracting little ones when they get bored. Small issue when activating the oriention option on my tablet, though I have another app that sort of corrects the problem. One option I'd like to see though would be some kind of sound option.
This thing sure will show you how slow your device really is in short order. Even when it's grinding your processor to a slow halt it is still hypnotic. Bonus no ads or permissions. Kind of like a cross between a lava lamp and virtual aquarium.
Thank you Ivan, this app is indeed a very odd but relaxing time killer, waiting at the doctor's, or a plane, it's simply just a very neat stress killer with very fluid physics properties. I thank God you were born. I mean that. Such a great app, and ad free. You did it just to do it, you did it in the name of computer science, you did it because you wanted to. Not because of financial greed or corporate boss. You did it for fun. I thank you.
Completely pointless and I love it. I can pass a lot of time just flicking these things around and watching the physics in action. Good job Dev. Thanks for making it free and without ads.
Great to practice how to mix it two liquids most efficiently lol. Very very cool. Wife said "WHAT IS THAT I WANT IT" in the middle of a The Office binge.
I love this. Not only does it look awesome, it also helps calm me down when my anxiety acts up. I definitely don't regret downloading this app.
Dont have any ideas for updates but keep them coming, recommended to all my mates trying to see who gets the weirdest shape.
This is a phenomenal application in every respect: No monetization schemes, no intrusion into any other data on the device, no pointless accounts, and no bloat! Everything works precisely as it should, the option controls snap to relevant (but many) multipliers, the performance is incredible, and nothing smells. I recommend this app absolutely and unequivocally for all users. It should be Featured in every app-store on a permanent basis.
It's super fun and there's barely any if not no ads but after a while it loses interest because there isn't much to do. I would love to see an update to this game
I usually only leave negative reviews. This is not one of those times. I dont even know the point of this game, yet it is so relaxing, and stress free.
Came to the playstore just to give this app 5 stars. This is easy to pick up and put down. Its exquisitly simple, yet ive played with it more than most other apps. Wish i could give you 6 stars, thank you developers. (also no adds which is a huge bonus)
First review I've ever written in the app store. I really like this app. Fun to spend a few minutes messing around, but easy to put down if need be. No permissions either, so it's the perfect app! Possibly my favorite app on my phone!
Mesmerising stress buster. No ads and no silly permissions. The grandkids are fascinated by the results they get from being able to freely alter settings then seeing the results as they gyrate my mobile or create patterns with their fingers.
This is a great simulation. I love that you can play with lattice vacancies and grain boundaries, and watch dislocations zip around the lattice. I wish it had an option for controlling the rigidity of the spheres, since they are quite bouncy. The colors are great though. Also the liquid simulation could be better, since the fluid is very compressible. But overall, an excellent toy.
When viewed with a samsung amoled display, the viewer begins to vomit rainbows :)

I dont see any purpose but killing time. And it helps killing a LOT of time.
