Train Driver is a first person 3D train simulator for Android phones and tablets. We aim to provide realistic driving experience, while still being fun to play.

Our apologies that we've not updated the game in so long. We have been busy with other projects to earn our bread. But we're back and we're bringing you a new update to Train Driver that we hope you guys like!
Issues with sounds stopping on some 4.3 systems are caused by a bug in the Android system:

It will be fixed in next system update.For now, here are things you can do if you are affected:
Use Android version 4.2.2 for now.
Upgrade to latest custom 4.3 (quite complicated).
Wait for google to release official update (should be soon, you can check for it in Settings->About device->System update menu)

Wait for the departure signal, close the doors and off you go. Just pay attention to the signs. And don't worry, if you know nothing about driving a train, our tutorial will guide you via an introductory ride. After this ride, the tracks are randomly generated, so you get a different ride every time you play.
In the future, we aim to improve and optimize graphics, and also introduce localized routes with country-specific signals, tracks and trains (with strong emphasis on realism), including High Speed Rail. For now, we have the Polish signals and default train is based on clunky old Polish EN57 EMU.
Train Driver is still a work in progress, but we figured it's already fun to play, so we might as well release it now and get some feedback from you. Feel free to visit us at http://mobiletraindriver.blogspot.co.nz and leave comments or suggestions, how we can improve it.

Simulator was tested on Asus Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy S2 (works nice and smooth) and HTC Wildfire (a bit choppy, but still perfectly playable). If you encounter any problems on your device, please let us know via our webpage, or email us, so we can resolve it as fast as possible.
If Train Driver crashes, please send a crash report, stating what it does, along with what actual device you are using. Often, we need to know what the device is, so we can fix it. Google is supposed to tell us this information, but they don't... It's always useful to hear what's going on at your end, and along with the info they do give us we can fix the problem in the next update.

Well I thought it was easy to drive a train well this game even though in its early design days has proved its not what we think! The game is great graphics not bad, game play good. Good diwnload choice! Looking forward to more hours of practice

Lovely little game! Really fun to play too! Just a few things though. Please could you add cab view and exterior view. Also, could you make a buzzer button to communicate with the conductor. Like they do in real life! Just one more thing, UK trains and scenery? Thanks! Love your game!

Pretty neat little sim, gameplay quite challenging....i cannot get the train to stop without incurring a harsh brake penalty and ive been playing forever....could b my phone but I have a feeling I have a little way to go before I drive a real train! Good work devs! *love the updates, this is still one of my favourite games! thanks guys!!

I enjoy this sim. Sure it's not the best mobile train sim but it gets the job done. I would like to see a cab interior put in place. Speed limits would also be nice. Keep up the good work!

Definitely a great simulator, but I would like to see moving trains in the opposite direction, as well as different camera angles. Hopefully soon we'll be able to switch tracks manually. The horn could use a makeover as well. All in all a cool game!

It makes you a good simulator but I need outside view and view of the buttons and a mirror to show the platform and if everyone is on the train. Needs more improvements

I simply downloaded this game going thru peoples comments n found somewhat interesting but need more attractive to enjoy a best experience in this game. 1) Clear view of trains from different angle with options of engines shud b fix during the halt at platform or while driving. 2) outer view of train running on the track would be more delight, so we can experience like real. 3) please specify the controls on the screen to run the train( like break controller, train moving forward n backward, horn, light...

Needs more things to do maybe freight train missons. Some dark tunnels more computer trains so at points in the game you have to wait for other trains to leave stations before you can go to station maybe a terminal / a loading station for freight were we can use a fork lift to load freight on trains. Just a few ideas for next update. Other then that its perfect.

This game is ok when it comes to graphics n sound could b bit better more maps would b nice & you should let people build their own maps & save the game would be great if you had more variety of trains & maps the downfall is the speed limits they are crap shouldnt have them & better & you should have the proper red yellow & green signals tracks platforms better stations the signals you have now are crap n so if you improve on the game you will get are five star but til then its only gonna be three stars.e

It's a good idea to have a game like this, but I think I have exited,but...it says"Skiped a staition! -100pts.":-(. I do agree that it's hard to drive the train.

Feels like I am actually driving train with adequate amount of challenges. However would liked better if there was more variety like modern day signalling system, multiple tracks at junction stations specially when we pay for it. Otherwise its very good.

I really appreciate a huge job you've did. Realistic train behavior. Please add some different views, as cabin and outside view . Also reverse can help. Thank you for beautiful, different scenarios. Besides, it's good. Kudos. Bravo! Keep ahead!!!
