Tales of Illyria:The Iron Wall for Android
I am surprised how much time passes by when I am playing this game. It goes to show how engaging it can really be well worth buying. I hope more people go on to give it a chance.
It builds upon the first episode with more to be discovered. I particularly enjoyed the first revenge sequence, and the sense of exploration that came afterwards! I would have liked to see more dungeons and more skills, but it still plays amazingly without it. I also hope the level cap will be raised since enemies seem tto scale with you. I can't wait for part 3!
Haven't played this one yet, played 1 and 3 and ADORED them, but after purchasing I just sort of... skipped this one. Will most likely give a 5 star post haste! Edit: I don't know what I expected. Once again, Little Killerz brings forth a criminally underrated masterpiece for mobile. Every penny I spent is well worth it, in this one game you will find mystery, comedy, intrigue, survival and stupifying events all in one. 10/10, as per usual! Definitely recommend this to anyone!
Wonderful world building. Love the expansive history. Bought all three episodes and now with this third one. One concern is that IAP Sync Failure I keep on getting when I'm playing offline. What gives? Bought Guid Pack and Quest Packs.
This is a great game and a great series. I miss the dungeon exploring part like on 1, but I still like the game. I also love challenging and strategic games.
Really enjoyed 1 and 2
Took forever to download. Too much dialogue
This game takes all the positive elements of the first Illyria game (GREAT travel system, open world, morale choices, ...) and transpose them into a refreshingly different region with a brand new storyline and features : superb oriental soundtrack, exotic new terrains & enemies, and as always, a finely crafted story that immerses you in a world you'll never want to quit ...
Started out a little slower than the first (sort of; the opening sequences were great, really felt like I was struggling to survive) and looked like it was going to be fairly short in comparison, but wound up being longer and having more side quests to pursue which extended the game nicely without dragging it out. Really enjoy the Oregon Trail style travel system, getting to know the party members and just exploring the world. Digging into episode 3 now.
As soon as ive finished TOI: Fallen Knight i I've bought this game. And im really amazed. Even more content! Cant wait to finish this one and to start Destinies. Great job devs, really! I haven't played RPG like TOI for a looong time. Thanks and keep it up. :)
This is better then the first in my opinion. It is an epic game and combat seems alot easier. Again everything I love about a role playing game. Got to ask how you get the new spells and attacks etc as the update mentions there are ten new skills. A great game and I hope there is many more episodes to come.
The game is put in a lot of challenging and without proper strategic and understanding you will not play through easily but if you are a hardcore rpg type this is a must buy this one is noticeable harder than last chapter better practice with Fallen knight first
I love this episode of Tales of Illyria. The story is longer than episode one. There are more kind of enemies and more side quests. Please help, i got stuck on lamia war quest especially on finding maluka quest. I have defeated maluka and go to elder council, but it seems that i can not proceed to the next step because the quest did not update. The elder (kora) keep insist me to find the other three altought I had complete the matron and the mage ones. Sorry for my english, i hope you understand. Thanks.
Good. Interesting storyline, fresh and original. But i liked the 1st episode more. Characters are flat while in the 1st they had deep personalities. Doesn't help that they have all the same face too.... clones, not people. Combat is unbalanced. Unavoidable knock down that keeps your character stunned for 6-7 rounds... a game stopper.... i have dispel but the Djinn stuns 2-3 characters at the same time. And silences me. The Blood Apes too.
Well worth the purchase. A great followup on the first story - Those bloody 2x wraith random encounters need a nerf though lol. They literally have half your party dead before you even get to attack (as they always both attack twice before its your turn). Seems imbalanced enough to make me think they are actually bugged to be twice as powerful as in the first chapter (their single attack procs twice on a single char for 60 damage...) -1* for the sheer amount of wraith related rage quits i'm afraid devs.
Literally bought the first one last night and played for 5 hours before I realized how long it had been.I haven't even beaten the first game and I just purchased this one!!! Sorry ps4 but you just got put on the back burner, just goes to show that extreme graphics and $60 triple a titles can still be destroyed by a simple idea executed perfectly!! PLEASE RELEASE MORE OF THESE GAMES!!!!!!!!!
Same problems as its predecessor. Engaging story, shoddy combat. EDIT: Developers got back to me, more control over combat A.I than I realized. Some default actions should still be tweaked, characters make strange decisions unless micromanaged. Main problem remains- no way to flee unwinnable battles. Five times I had to quit because I ran into a group of angels 3-4 times stronger than my party and I got stomped. 3.5 overall- hopefully pt 3 has an escape option
I have primarily only played action rpgs, but got part 1 of Illyria on impulse. Part 2 doesn't disappoint either. The series is excellent so far.
This game is beautiful I feel like it my culture, I'm Saudi Arabian an this game I'll keep even after win because you can always replay, an I'll try the others, its easy and adventures travel... InshÅÄllãh wonderful wonderful wonderful creation game,
Not gonna play it yet until i finish the first one
Fantastic
Just like the first TOI this game is light years better than the average mobile game. Great art and story, and I really like that the intro has you play thru your char's reason for questing instead of just reading it. My biggest complaint is there isnt much new gear that I have seen. Spells/skills are exactly the same as well as horses&saddles (except for 2 minor renames). Weapons and armor have some new offerings but most are recycled from the wandering magic shop. Still its completely worth getting.
Enough said. If u enjoyed the 1st part. Buy this. It has bigger map, side quests, good story plot and some humorous stuffs. again adjust to set 6 party members to recruit.Level 10 is the Max Level. Choose wisely what stats for members. There will be 1 castle will have magical items. Buy those or fromwandering merchant. Good luck. Keep it up Developer. GREAT WORK@
Nice change of pace from the grind of other game apps....I like the fact that my choices drive the gameplay...very cool...!!
Very much enjoying these games, but having issues with this one. Purchased on my tablet but can't install as I just shows me the purchase button. Can install on all other devices tied to same account though, very weird.
I really enjoy the game series but personally I found myself preferring the first one. This one doesnt seem to have much equipment like the first one (if you exclude magic equipments) as it has been the same so far in every city, while in the 1st game equipment was different in every city. Also this game seems to have slowed down leveling, not sure if its just me or what haha. I still love the game but I think it's not as good as the first... also i cant seem to beat the 4 djinn :(
I understand this game made for hardcore gamer, but it doesn't has to be an unfair game.. Too many retry battle in early-mid game, regardless how many skill you invest to your P.C. The warrior/tanker strong but too slow, my level 4-5 warrior defeated by level 3-4 enemies just in TWO strikes! Though i invest him/her strenght and agility.. My mages spell reduced it's power per battle round, i.e. healing spell (lv 2) it heal 20 hp in 1st round, then 15 hp in 2nd untill it only heal 5 hp! 2* untill it fix.
I had so much fun with Ep1, playing good then evil, so I did the same on this one. I have to say that, in the beginning at least, playing evil is MUCH easier. However, playing good has it's on rewards and the game plays well with both, or to switch mid-stream. My only big complaint is the incredibly long story at the beginning. I didn't mind the first couple times, but after that I seriously wanted a way to skip it. I hear rumors of an Ep3. Just based on these two, it'll be an automatic buy.
Edit: it may have double the equipment, but by end game, its all the same best stuff. My end game party is identical to my end game party in the first game. New trail types are cool at first, just for aesthetics, but arent really any different. The story is much longer, yes, I just didnt enjoy it as much. I do have to give you the replayable end game. That was a nice touch. I guess what I really wanted to see was more dungeons, higher max level, and some epic new gear. Good game; i liked the 1st better.
I looove this game and can play it for hrs on end. My question tho is i keep reading about dlcs and is that separate or included?
I have hundreds of hours of play time in the first two episodes of this, and I can't wait for the new material. It's been a decade since I spent this much time on a game. Thanks.
This one... Not so much. I really like the party members in the first one, but I'm finding myself not caring about the characters in this one at all, except the main character. It's not that you guys did a bad job, it's just my opinion. I was going to give it 2 stars, but I'll throw in a third because it's not a bad game at all, I just find that the characters don't have as much depth as the first game.
Bought this game too) will buy last chapter later. First was a great experience. Recommend to everyone, better than some AAA games on pc
Reply to developer : Thanks Chad, will be waiting for your update for level cap to 15. I'll buy episode 3 after finishing this 2nd (i already finish the 1st episode but wanna play it again), hope u will have the 4th episode :D
Because of the difficulty level calibration, at the beginning it's not so simple to proceed but if you endure enough the game will become really interesting. I hope there will be more episodes that I will buy for sure ;)
Hi TOI team! Thanks a million for bringing these amazing games to us. I have enjoyed the first episode and now I just can't stop playing the TOI: BIW. I'm a big fan of you, looking forward to playing the third episode, any hints about release date and name? I hope you guys will add Google Play Games - Achievements, would be great to have this connection GPG Achievements = Journal or Quest Log. Feel yourselves hugged!
Managed to complete it within 9 months of game time, and was able to beat the final boss at level 8. I was hoping the game would go on. I also didn't feel attached to the characters in the same way. They felt quite shallow and samey. I shall try the third game, as I hear you can continue playing after the main quest has finished.
Not as good as fallen Knight; also the language gets a little obscene and kinda gross at times and there is too much verbiage, I'd like to see shorter conversation and then a lot of it didn't lead anywhere.
