Latrunculi for Android
would be a fun game against other people but against ai its a dumpsterfire
Very confusing without instructions. I am not sure which version of the rules you are using. A possible improvement would be a choice of which version you play and some controls or levels of difficulty would improve gameplay.
Bad ui and no directions
Impossible to win
Bad ui and no directions
Why can't I take two pieces that are adjacent to each other? They should be captured if they are both sandwiched with two pieces, right? At least that's how the other games worked
No option to play second -1* lame instructions -1* requires access to things it has not bussness accessing -1*
Can see it is fun. Tried and don't have any idea what is going on. Instructions are no help. I don't do good with instructions. I lean by doing. Soon i will be winning . Got it. Tried again. Like a chess game called pones. Or the chess varient is from the roman game. (chicken or egg??)
One rule that is not implemented: The "king" can move in any "orthogonal" direction (up, down, left, right, NOT diagonally), but unlike the pawns, it should be able to move ONLY by one square. I hope the developer implements that in a future version. Also, it would be nice to have the option to play on a 8x12 board (8 rows, 12 columns), as that was one of the variations of the game back in antiquity.
The designer of this app obviously thinks it makes him look smart when he uses fancy words. But you should also know what they mean!!!! Therefore the capture description is wrong!!!!! Put more weight on a better AI and graphics. And less on fancy language! Maybe including a tutorial would be the right solution!?!?!?!?!
Please offer an ad free version too.
Game is too easy. Enemy is predictable.
Fun game, but the computer player is too hard to beat. It also needs a multiplayer setting
There are no instructions on how to play!
Great game, light weight and fast.
App works great, but I'm not a fan of the game.
I dont get how to capture
Good time waster. Needs to be less difficult. Weak is still way to hard. Once I can actually beat your game, then 5 stars.
