kawaii日本語 - Learn Japanese

It's great to learn new words, plus its cute! It might only be me, but if I see cute picture's while learning a language, I remember the name of the word because the picture reminds me. I haven't seen Yuji though, I'm guessing there's nothing else yet for him in the game, but hopefully I get to enjoy the little Visual Novel sorta mode! Thank you very much, Development!

Good app. Sadly just for very early beginners. I hope there are going to be updates soon, because for me there were just two new vocabs. The じ and ぢ are hard to keep apart, when listening, which is why testing them by themselves makes technically no sense. Same goes for を and お

Love the app! Very excited about the grammer expansion. Only one small problem with the grammer section. when i go to make the sentences the answer choices overlap and wont allow you to choose the correct answers. Could you guys fix that in the near future. Other than that this app is great A+

There needs to be a feature where you can skip ahead to your level. The app is rather slow because of all its animations (a full second dedicated to watching a card turn around), so it's just tortuous wading through super beginner stuff to get to the kanji. If you kniw absolutely zero japanese, though, you might like it.

Hi I've bought the kanji book to learn but i'm facing some problem with the listening part. I know the words but was wrong because I was unable to identity what sound was said. The pronunciation isn't really accurate kindly fix it.

Great if I was learning English. I'm still at the beginning, but all the questions have me translating from hiragana to romanji. This is not helping me learn to read, write, or hear the kana. It would be a great tool if I was Japanese fluent trying to learn English.

I have literally dozens of apps to help me learn Japanese, and have spent a lot of money on them, but none of them compare to this app. I started again 2 months ago (already knew hiragana pretty well, and a few words) and now I have both hiragana and katakana down, several kanji, my vocabulary is about 5x what it was, and I know a decent amount of the Japanese grammar structure (memorized all of it that they have so far). Yes there are in app purchases to learn all of that but it's extremely cheap and well worth it. I definitely recommend this app, and I don't leave reviews unless an app is truly that good.

I really like this learning game, it makes you want to learn. The only downside is that it takes a loooong time to gather money to buy expansions, and you cant set your level.

Cool game. Wish you set things you already know. Please add more stuff beyond simple grammar.

Very helpful in learning Japanese, and very inexpensive as well! It's only two dollars for over 60 vocab words, and all the kana!

I wanted to learn Japanese fast and I get bored easily, but this game has my favorite styles of gameplay. Visual novel, and its fun to learn now. I have grown so much of this game. Thank you creators

Well, so far it's really good, but I feel like I'm in an endless loop of hirigana vowels. I've only done the hirigana yet and I just want to do that first. Every lesson is always i, o, u, a, and e. Ive already learned those hirigana and I want to learn the next ones.

Very fun way to learn japanese, a way to practice drawing the kata outside the flash cards in the class would be nice. For example instead of only having the animation of the kata being drawn, it would be nice to give blank slates to practice.

Summary: Not bad. I wish there was a way to hide the Romaji and randomize the cards when practicing, truly, but overall not a bad program. The games in the arcade are useless as they do not adjust to the player's skill level. It has a lot of things that need tweaking (as listed), but overall not bad for a free program with a $4 pricetag to unlock EVERYTHING.

This is one of the best Japanese apps but they have multiple choice and none of the above is the answer far too many time. None of the above is good so you can identify which it is not but when it is the majority of the answers I feel like we can't reinforce what it actually is. Also I would like to be able to change the color of the cards because I hate Orange.

Nice game , got a little bit story . Overall it's good for me to learn a little bit , can break study decrease a bit . Well need to wait a day per study , and i miss valentine card since yoday i try it huhu

Well I certainly do love the premise of this game, but one thing I would love to see is a game in the arcade help more with recognizing the kana. That Fox game just isn't cutting it. I am thinking maybe a mahjong type game where you can match the rules with any of their equivalent kana. Or adjust the matching game to make it match the hirigana to the romanji instead of having both on the same card

Completely useless. Days of waiting between practices and even then it just repeats the same five vocals. edit: Thanks for the answers. It's bullshit. There is definitely forced waiting time and you are not able to take the lesson when ever you want. Unfortunately I cannot give less than one star for this as your answer would deserve negative one.

Minor stuffs: At the beginning of the story, the word "closely" was spelled as "closly". After downloading the materials: "After a while you eventually arrive...", I think it should be "arrived". On the positive side, I think this app looks promising. ☺ Edit: Thanks for the response.
