Space Trader

I never played original game, so I suppose I can't give a valid rating regarding comparison, but i love text based RPGs. There is another version of this game that I've yet to try, but i give credit here with what I can see. A few sound effects would polish it a bit. A way to jot down some notes about star systems would be a lifesaver (does anyone else use a pad and pen with this game? Lol) Good job!

Fun game. Feels like Elite without actually flying the ship. Think I found a bug with the scarab quest line, tho. Flew around the galaxy to every wormhole exit about 50 times with 3 pulse lasers equipped, never saw it. All my exits were also wormhole entrances, maybe that's why?

Im so excited to be playing such a classic on my phone like this. Im downright awed that it's on my phone now

I have spent a humiliatingly enormous amount of time playing this game. Glad to have it on my new device. PC games are dead to me now.

Plain simple UI, super addictive gameplay, tonz of replay value. Brings back the memories of playing Elite on my old x86 PC in ms-dos era. :)

The user interface has lots of detail but is still simple to understand and read. Well done, great game overall.

Theres not much to the game. I "beat" it in like 2-3 hr, but it has a lot of potential. Besides that what I did play was quite fun. I can see this getting alot of really fun and intersting updates

A classic game from Palm OS, I used to play it in high school. Not great on graphics, but superb gameplay.

Text is too big in many places, but it's playable. Check the other Space Trader for a better implementation.

Game was fun for the first 20 mins - by then I had the best ship and weapons and there is literally nothing else to do but uninstall

I used to spend hours playing it on palmos, this is very real port with same look and feel

This is the best game I've ever played on here. I do wish there was a bit more depth (maybe make your own spinoff? Doesn't that sound fun!?) but I'm so entertained right now it doesn't really matter. For example, I'd like to be able to hail ships. I'd also like the police to save me once and a while instead of just being jerks! Oh also, no save scumming is a great feature, please don't give into the whiners that want to be able to rollback! Also less than 1mb makes this so unbelievably awesome.

I noticed a glitch; bought 11 Medicine and 2 food respectively to trade at a planet. Was able to sell the food but the medicine would not be sold anywhere and still takes up 11 slots claiming that I don't have it in my cargo bay. > update: re-installing does not reset game, I've changed my rating from 4 to 3 until this is fixed.

Only the bloody option "load saved game" is missing. Give me back the time I spent on this piece of "brown and sounds like a bell".

I played the old Palm OS version endlessly, and loved it. This is a faithful and fun port of that game. It will kill many an hour on the train ride to work for me.

I read why you didn't include the save, but completely disagree. A game like this NEEDS a save function.

A great game, easy to pick up. I would give 5 stars but personally I'd like to see a bigger map, more special missions and more ships. I had been playing for hours and when I retired due to lack of difference only got a 35% score

UI elements are so big it hurts usability -- I have to scroll around in trade screen to see robots. Buttens tend to be too small to contain their text. Other than that, works as advertised.

Great entertaining game, the actual repetitiveness of it never shone through and I enjoyed every minute

that makes your game suck any game that takes you time to build up and no save you get a flea come on are you new at this

I achieved a score of 0.3%. After 1 Days I got killed.

It just cant chalange any other games with iut a clear guide you cant get into it

So addictive, I might have to uninstall it...

Its a great game

Fun game but the inability to return to a previous save after getting killed is ruinously out of date. Not good enough I'm afraid.

Please for the love of god add a save system. Had a maxed out wasp and died from an army of aliens that I did not know about. My escape pod ejected and I now have a flea with no equipment and 20000 credits. The rage was real.

I like it. Could really appreciate an option to "not allow me to purchase beneath what my mercs cost". That is, i don't want to have to think about paying my mercs every single jump or transaction.

There is no way to save progress. If you quit the app, you lose the data.

Can not start game

Loved this game on my palm, it's almost exactly the same. Notable differences: either the mercenaries you hire are free or there's no way to know how much they cost each day; autosave is under options but still works if it's not checked, there's no way to save manually or return to last saved spot.

This is absolutely amazing. If I ever get bored of it, I can just stop playing for a while and come back later because it's one of those game. Beautiful T_T Tears of joy... Hour later, and all I can say is that wow, I just wasted an hour on this. Totally worth. Get this if you haven't, and you think you like these kind of games. One of the best yet.
