Marvin - ZX Spectrum Emulator

I have a lenovo tablet. I have used this app on other phones and I KNOW it worked perfectly. But on this tablet, the joystick doesn't work, only in 1 direction, and the wrong one at that. Gah. So frustrated!

Is there anyway to change position of joystick to right hand side. As right handed and it is awkward playing on the left hand side.

Love the App. Great to go back and visit Exploding Fist etc! Lots of my favourites are not available by copyright etc, But sill great fun! :)

I used to use this emulator before I got an S7. On the S7, you get a message saying "Split screen not supported" when trying to access the menu. It emulates really well, but now unusable on newer phones. Please get an updated version or a workaround.

Great app still works perfect on my s5 with my new phone I can't see the menu in portrait and landscape just about gets me the top of it

Unfortunately as mentioned already, this app isn't updated and still does not work on the S6 Edge... The menu plays peekaboo and never stays in view! Really annoying!

Can't seem to get to the menu options to load games on a Samsung s7. Shame as this app is brilliant on my older phones.

I'm on an S6 edge and i want to play manic miner. However i can't because whenever i press the menu button the menu closes down again without me pressing anything. Please fix this.

Brought back many happy memories, hours spent watching games load, only for them to crash. Spot on emulator.

But unable to move keypad from top left in landscape mode...sorta weird, considering most people are right-handed, thus blocking the screen whilst hitting the desired button. Mediocre...

Cannot open settings (i.e. cannot use the app) on Samsung Galaxy S7. Please advise!

Very good emulator, especially with the poke database integration. Please can you add: A "Quit Emulator" button in the menu An option to set a default path for Games / Save States Filters like hq2x and hq3x to smooth the graphics a bit. Thanks

Still can't find menu to load games on Samsung Edge. Gutted. Wanna play!!!

This was one of the best. It is not functional with a Galaxy S6 edge+. You cannot access the menu to load roms. I really liked this app.

Used to work on my s5 but menu doesn't show up at all on my s7 edge.

Worked ok when I first installed it, then no menu button , uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times, but will only run once (occasionally) with the menu. Galaxy s6 edge+

Very good UI design, it is compatible with all the games I have tested, flip phone for joystick, flip it again for keyboard. Need the joystick to act as the keyboard? No problem, just chose that from options.

Menu has stopped working, Samsung Tab S2.

Keep accidentally clicking the phones back button and leaving the app mid game.

Since Santa got me a 48k in '87 and sitting all boxing day playing 'chronos'.. And with a bag of (400?) Odd games. This is as close as I can get. For now!!! More key options pls devs. WD&TY...

Menu flips down as soon as pressed making it impossible to load a game. Really wanted to play too....

I've rage quit games but I never rage uninstalled an app before. The maker of this piece of garbage should first have a look at what makes apps successful. It starts with a workable user interface. Selecting a program requires you to go through your directories every single time. On a 5 inch screen it is almost impossible to select the right title as the font is extremely small and when you choose the wrong title, you need to go through the whole torturous journey from the Marvin home directory to your SD card again. I'm left handed which adds a fun handicap factor to the lottery. Have a look at Mame4droid or SNES9X if you want a clue on how to make a workable emulator.

Would love to actually play with this. However, the menu instantly disappears when I bring it up so I cannot actually do anything. I loaded it onto my tablet and it's really fantastic you can even play your own games

A ridiculous amount of zx spectrum games available at your fingertips. Fantastic compatibility with SD card too! Still the best way to recreate my childhood via android....until someone creates a time travel app

Superb Speccy emulator! Browsing the WorldOfSpectrumarchive & downloading games directly cuts out the lengthy download & transfer process I have seen with other similar programs. This is a real nostalgia trip and I can't believe how many game names are tripping of my tongue from 30 years ago. Also surprised myself by how many teleport codes from Starquake I remembered. Weirdly some developers like Elite and Ultimate Play The Game titles are conspicuous by their absence (copyright issue?) but can be found

I would love to be able to set my default SD location. Pretty please! Ignore all these other demanding rude people.

Worked fine until update now menu comes on and immediately flips down off making it close to impossable to use except in landscape mode you can just manage to load a game. (galaxy s6) Shame as I liked it a lot

Shame, looks good. But cant access menu on S6. So its useless.

No Bluetooth support for my ipega gamepad, please add this! This would be perfect then.

Menu button doesn't stay open when touched, despite update saying this issue has been fixed. Unusable until fixed. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S6. Loved the emulator before this issue.
