Cognitive functions

Memory and attention are part of the “cognitive” functions of our brain. They not only help us to perceive and understand the world around us, but also to act, react and manage our plans and the tasks we must complete. Finally, they mediate our perceptions of our needs, feelings and thoughts. Cognitive functions also include the need to talk, creation of opinions, assessing options and so on.
