Drop7™ for Android
I'm glad it's back and for hi res devices. They've listened and put back the classic look and music although it's the shortest loop of music ever and just annoying. Option to remove ads now included.
u can make this look & sound like the old version! tap plus sign (top left) choose "classic" display! works great! I see no ads, maybe cause I bought the original?
Excellent time killer. Works well on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Tab S. The notifications don't bother me at all. I ignore them.
If it weren't for these pop-up ads between games crashing my phone I probably would have rated it higher. But holy hell. I'd pay $ not to deal with this. Are the banner ads scrolling at the bottom not enough? Zynga + free app = ads that crash your device. Edit: dropped to one star now due to ad ware crashing the device. I'm done. This company is crap.
Cool addictive game... But the rules doesn't work always.... The rules should be explained more elaborate... Most of the time... The tiles explode for no reason most of the time.... It is luck that is playing most of the time than logic....
I'm a game developer and would probably class myself as a core gamer. I have 30+ gaming systems and probably in excess of a thousand games, spanning more than 3 decades of the medium. In my top 10 sits Drop7, easily the game I've sunk the most hours into. Simply the best puzzle game ever, and one of the best games full stop.
This is a great game. The only issue you need to fix is the speed of the annimation when it pops the numbers. It is way to slow. I am glad the high scores don't get erased all the time and that at the end of the game when it shows your score, you can see it and is not overlapping other text. Please make it the same as the old version.
Jesus Mary and Joseph. I want to love this game but not having a paid version makes this about the most annoyingly addictive game zynga has created so far. I would gladly give you money for a version without having to sit through VIDEO ads. Let's make this happen, eh!
This is one of my favorite mobile games and I'm glad Zynga finally updated it. I'd give it 5 stars if the average score feature worked better. Two things: 1. Average score does not calculate accurately, and 2. there is no way to reset your stats.
Why does the game's algorithm throw down so many 1s more often than not where they essentially block off the entire grid? Please fix or at least explain why.
I'd bought the original version. Instead of updating it they release a new version with ads, which you can turn off by buying again. Full screen ads now pop up in the middle of a game - and I lost my game that was going well and it shows an error message about the ad. Really ticked off with this greedy company.
It used to be incredibly fast, very fun, and very addicting. I purchased it to remove ads. Then, this update comes along and is much slower, when you select classic graphics it's even slower, and I am unable to even buy the upgrade to remove the obtrusive ads. It gives me an error saying I have to be signed in to Google Play (which I am). Very disappointed.
Pretty fun once you get the hang of it. Then can get a little hard to put down. Although I think it might be more addictive without those 1s stopping everything up, but who knows. Still, a good game
I purchased Drop7 a few years ago. I lost it when Zynga was sold. Glad it is formatted to fit my new phone (old version didn't fit my Galaxy S3) but the ads are annoying and the game is really slow, perhaps because of the ads? Now I have to buy it again? : (
The lag is annoying. Now started to constantly reopen on own, having to force stop the app is past annoying and now it freezes up. I really enjoy but please fix or I will be uninstalling
Great game, except for Zynga replacing the old version I paid for with new version containing in game ads when I changed phones. Other than that gnawing chancre, it's a game that starts simple and then rewards study even while relaxing you. It's my go-to time waster.
Younger people may give it a lower rating because it's more old school and to me it reminds me of Tetris in a way but not... cause it's way more fun. I've been addicted for years.
first things first - as a mobile game, Drop 7 is pretty great. Easy to learn, hard to master. fills time waiting for an appointment or getting your tires rotated. But, as with most mobile games, you get phases where you don't feel like playing the game. That's when the non game features of this app snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. instead of just waiting for you to remember you liked the game and come back, you get annoying notifications. A great game marred by a marketing department.
I enjoy the game now that I finally get it (the tutorial wasnt as clear as it could have been). The only thing I hate is the push notifications and the fact that you cant turn them off. Please add that ability and I'll up my rating. Until then, it stays firmly at 3
I love this game. I have been addicted to it since 3 years. But y u no let me restore purchases? I have bought this game twice- once when you had the one time download payment. Then you made a few updates after ages, and then put ads again and to remove it I needed to make an in app purchase. That wasn't a good move. But I was addicted. I paid again. Now I have moved to a different device. And connected my account. I see the ads again. I tried to restore, but it does not work. This is so not cool.
Only thing I would love as an update: be able to start in hardcore mode with several rows already at the bottom. It's tedious to go through the first 10 levels everytime, just to get to the challenge.
It really nice to play again to this wonderful game... But be carefull of you battery... It drain a lot for no reason in compaison w/ other games. Fix it please.
I left this game because the high scores were lost every week. I was very happy about the new version, but the animation is very slow on my device. The old version had not such a problem.
Paid for the old version. Now I gotta pay again? Old game ran smoother on my HTC Hero than the new version runs on my Galaxy S4. Whazzup with THAT? Disappointed, to say the least.
Only thing I really dislike is that often times in Blitz mode nothing but 2s and 1s drop and you can't clear them. Other than that annoyance, the game is great.
Cool addictive game... But the rules doesn't work always.... The rules should be explained more elaborate... Most of the time... The tiles explode for no reason most of the time.... It is luck that is playing most of the time than logic....
Zynga ruined this classic game with new animations and audio. Also, advertisements and lag. No new modes of play either. The original game of this was called Chain Factor. It was simple, and to the point. They then made Drop7 and that too was good. Then they abandoned Chain Factor, letting it die off and forever being in Beta, and they sold off Drop7 to Zynga and, well, here is what you have now. When Chain Factor existed, it had a single vision: Putting the power back into the hands of you, the players, and letting you create the game that you want to play. I believe in that vision too, and therefore, something had to be done...
The game great. But they want me to pay for it again. I paid for it a few years ago, and reinstalled it today, and they want me to pay for it again! Thats just messed up! (Ad free, already paid for that)
Was a great game but I'm uninstalling it. I don't need my phone to buzz and tell me it's time to play a game.
Love this game, but I just get really annoyed by the random push messages appearing on my phone to tell me to come and play again. It just ruins the whole experience. If you want people to actually play less, that's the way forward. I've decided to remove it.
I play this game when I'm bored or waiting for something. It's nice because I can quit and then pick up right where I left off. Does take a minute to get used to it, but it's not hard at all
This is a very addictive game. One thing I think that would make it more enjoyable. Is when you have more than three chain reactions. To have a slow motion instant replay. Update - I needed to factory reset my phone. Now Drop 7 wants me to pay again to stop the ads. Why?
I haven't played since we'll before Zynga bought the rights.. I'm pleasantly surprised that they didn't monetize it and have enjoyed the new visuals (although they left the old style there if you like) enough that I've paid to remove ads.. Thanks for not only maintaining, but improving this phenomenal puzzle game.
Very good, but annoyingly slow visual effects, which is not possible to turn off.
I love this game! It's easy and complicated, a great mix. Enjoy the 3 format of games, my favorite t blitz!
Zynga, let's be honest here, you stopped making my favorite mobile games like DreamTower and Zombie SwipeOut, but this game is the best you still make. Don't disappoint me further by removing this game too, thanks.
This game is great and for years I've played it, purchasing it from the app store for $4.99. The upgrade was refreshing, and needed, but I find it ridiculous that Zynga is charging paid customers again this time to remove ads. Now with video ads that spontaneously play it's worse. Zynga can do better by their customers.
This is really an addicting game... but it consumes batt too much. After close the apps still running at background and uses same amount of batt as my android OS !!
This has been my #1 time killer app since I originally got it years ago on ios. It's simple and addictive. Blitz is the best mode for a quick pick up and play. The newer version is updated with some animations, but I wish they were sped up a little. Other than they, it's the same game I've sunk probably days into...

I understand a free game will have ads but when you have to close a pop up 10 times in a row it is really anoying. This has become too much for me. Why do you not just stick with the bottom ads and the in between game ads. Is Zynga hurting that bad that you need that many going on? Cheers.
