It does not allow you to cut with spades first, if you do not have the suit played. Its done that to me more than once. I thought it was a commuter error at first.

Im'a give it a two star because it was aight, I mean it worked. The only problem I have to this game is, if you win, then take your winning, I ain't knowing why I gotta always tap the cards when other other team won. Tired of tapping that every hand.

Okay, I had a 3-star review but then the game was updated. What a piece of junk. There's a lot of flash but nothing under the hood. Lousy bidding, scoring seems completely random and makes no sense, game score arbitrarily resets to zero mid-play. And I've got the paid version of the app. Save your time and money and try something else.

First off, let me say that the actual card play is the best I've found in any Spades game I've tried with one exception: If your partner is sitting on a high-low doubleton and you lead a winner the game seems to always play the high card. This communicates a high singleton and requests a lead back in the same suit which you invariably lose. Otherwise it's good. However the actual game interface and app behavior is completely weird. If, for example, you bid and make a blind nil, you'll be credited for the blind nil and then get a bonus for the blind nil. Next, it's impossible to stop the game. No exit and save. No pause. AND if you hit the return button the app goes away but when it's restarted it comes back to a completely different place. For example, if you press return when you're in the bidding screen the app will reactivate on the first play screen with no bid displayed. Lastly, the menu is only available from the play screen (at least that I've been able to find) and some settings (such as the player level) does not persist from game to game. I've got screenshots for all these. My environment is 4.4.2 on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 32GB. I'm running the paid version of the game.

There are weird extra things to try for such as blind 6, 7, 8, Little Moe, Big Moe, Little Bemo, Big Bemo. The blind nill doesn't let you see what cards you are passing to your opponent. Seems like a bug? or maybe just a local custom. Then the scoring system is a little funny. If you get ten bags, you go back 100, which is of course standard, but on the hand where you get the ten bags total, you get extra minus points just because. I don't understand it.

The game play and computer players are top notch, but the graphic interface is pretty weak and outdated. Maybe you'll could find help with the design of the app. I've played over 15 spade games on Android this is one of the best, but I can't do the interface
