Aequalis: Zen Maths

I enjoy this game very much. Easy to play, I could go for hours. The required score and Zen score don't always show up before the game, but instead are just two squares. Sometimes I have to open it twice before I can play because it forecloses. Overall, very pleased. I also wish there was a replay button at the end of each level, regardless of whether or not you pass the level.

Like the atmosphere however grapical glitches won't let me see required score, score for zazen and stage number for some reason. Game locked up requiring a force close a few times after going to menus. Then I get "application became corrupted" and can not play anymore.

Samsung Galaxy Note II Beautifully combines the tranquility of Zen and the brain teasers of mathematics. No time limit so you are relaxed and free to immerse yourself in this game. Beautifully laid out. A must have to any puzzle lover!

Really do like it, and it is a decent way to unwind. Music, decent picture quality..Zone out to easy arithmetic. My only suggestion is to have a beautiful nature image pop out, or transition onto the screen like a powerpoint transition, after completing a round. OR MAYBE IF YOU GET THE ZEN STATE :)

Downloaded today and got hooked. Closed it when I was done playing. Opened it again a lil later and it gave me an error regarding the app being corrupted. Uninstalled and downloaded again. Same thing. Repeated this a few more times to no avail. Hope to see an update. Really addictive game.

First time I opened it, crash. Tried again and it worked. Unfortunately it's so smothered in ads you can't even see the required score etc. Crashes as soon as I finish a level. I'm guessing it's probably an ad having trouble pushing. Congratulations. Otherwise probably would have been fun.

But make the hit boxes larger! Especially in the more difficult levels when you need every second for the next math problem and not carefully retapping a button to select it.

Beautiful design and music. Has truly helped me with the speed of my mental math calculations. Although there has been a problem for about a year now with the loading of the graphics for the score needed before the round. Also had to reinstall after the "corrupted file" problem. 5 stars when fixed.

My son really into this game. But after the first day the game no longer loads. It keeps saying that it's corrupted. Fix it and I'll revise my feedback.

First, the "score required" and "score to zazen state" areas are just grey blobs, they dont show me anything. Contact me if you would like screenshots. I'm on G+ Second, the game needs profiles so multiple people can play and compete. Some social integration wouldn't hurt either. Third, the advertising is too obtrusive. I cannot achieve Zen with a flashing monkey, monster, or images of a credit card flashing at me. Consider only advertising inbetween levels. We aren't going to click on the ads during a level anyway. Otherwise you have made a good attempt, I just cannot give you more than 2 stars.

Very fun game. It's not very Zen when you get to the later levels and want to throw your phone... my only complaint is that it seems the hit boxes for the numbers that you select are very small. This can be frustrating when you get to the double-digit inputs.

This game is a lot of fun in it's simplicity. The only reason I would dislike it is if I was horrible at math, but I can hold my own so I enjoy it quite a bit. The app needs to be updated; it had a few issues of closing and the ads are in the way. Once the game froze and decided it was corrupted. I had to re-install it after that, but since haven't had issues.

I really like the app, but I have had to start the whole game over TWICE because the game first locks up, and then I get the message of doom: ``the app has been corrupted." I am uninstalling this app until the issue is fixed, at which point I will increase the number of stars I give.

Find it very odd that we can't pay to remove ads. They detract from this game more than any other I've ever played; otherwise it's good. I think I may have to uninstall for one I can buy, though.

In a very Zen master fashion, this app will randomly get corrupted, testing your determination to uninstall and reinstall. After this test, your scores -much like your belongings in the afterlife- will be deleted. Three stars for the master who taught me to give up of virtual scores.

The lay-out and art design of the game is excellent. I didn't read the description so I am not sure of the purpose, outside of solving some math problems but it is a well put-together thing.

I love this app but there are a few areas where this comes short.one of them is that There should be answer after solve of each question. It is useless for my brain atm.

You can buy it on ios for $2. Dev has screwed us android users with this garbage ad ridden crap. Why no android paid version? Because spamming us with ads is more profitable.

Makes my back key disappear making it unable to exit app. When i try to restart the app it tells me it is corrupted. Fix and will rate 5 stars.

I can now get scores of over 1000 on most levels following the recent update, where previously I could only get 100 or so. Make it harder again to get 5 stars!

Suddenly crashed saying the application had become corrupted. Reinstalled and all progress lost. Don't bother installing if you don't want to stress out trying to solve equations with a time limit only to lose your hard earned progress.

Great game for both math and meditation. Simplicity gives this app a quiet power, and the theme helps conquer stress and the wandering of the mind. I recommend this to anyone seeking calm focus and an inherently beneficial form of entertainment.

But everything else is great. Can I have an option to pay to get rid of ads, because I'd be willing to if the option were there. They are very distracting when I am trying to concentrate on the awesome game!

I love how you are in total control with this app. It builds up your math skills in such a gradual and easy way that you become so good and quick at solving problems. I love that it becomes algebraic in the way it postulates the questions as the levels go up. I became such a math wizard that I was able to complete a math test of addition, subtraction and multiplication for a trade program in 2 minutes and got all 100 questions right. AND the music is so relaxing. Good job app developers!

I like this app despite the size it makes up for it with good graphics and smooth controls and creates a pleasant learning environment. the error message that is displayed saying that the program is corrupt is a must fix also larger number buttons would be good and some different music. This application would easily get 5 stars from a lot of people if the error message forcing you to clear data and cache destroying all your progress was resolved. Please fix

I enjoy the game, fine. It works well. The music is pleasant. I am able to vent my lameness a bit doing simple math for fun. Generally, this is good. Here's the annoyance: When I quit the game and stop wasting time, I cannot change the volume of my ringer. When I try to, the media volume is changed and the ringtone volume is left completely alone. I have to force quit the app every time I play in order to change the volume of my ringer. Not a huge deal, but certainly annoying.

Pretty much the best zen game ever. Calming oriental music. Fun math problems. A fun, upbeat pace. The sound effects are amazing. 5 stars.

It tries to pawn itself off as a fun relaxing zen garden. Even talks about breathing. .. something I forget to do when I am trying to get those last few in before time runs out. This "game" is great! Gets my mind active and I enjoy trying to best myself. Not relaxing to me... my heart races and I have giggled in satisfaction when I finally beat a level. Exciting. .. and it's only math...so far... wonder what's next waiting for me to conquer.

I didn't realize how much of my basic math I had forgotten. Took me a while to get back into it. Very rewarding when I get answers right now :) gets gradually more difficult. Challenging but not stressful. Love it!

This is an enjoyable application. Yes, there are some annoyances, but I suppose even those said annoyances help increase one's level of zen. Level of zen aside, there is a problem with constant recognition of consecutive number selections. Also, bright ads on a dark background are not calming. Haha This app has a serious problem of being corrupted. I have uninstalled it twice, & am about to uinstall for a 3rd & last time.

I would give it a five but it needs to be fixed. There's some bugs that caused me to reinstall the game. Other than that I love it. Its a great breakfast for my brain every morning or snack for when I'm bored; it helps keep the mind sharp and collected. Something I think that will add to the meditation is more music of Zen. Have like a broad playlist that will randomly play a track per session per module. I hope to see an Algebra zen game from you guys in the future. Great work guys. Keep it up

Very much recommended. Ads don't intrude on play quality, and enterface well designed. No problems or lag. Nicely done!

This is a cool game, however, the game has now twice frozen up on me, and no matter what you do it crashe. Then, when you try to reopen the app it gives you an error saying that "the game is corrupted." I have tried a few diferent methods to rectify the problem without any success. Please fix this!

My friends hate it. My moms scared of it. I find this game very intertaing, highly addictive , & a great mental streach first thing in the am as well as last thing in the pm. Frustrating on junk touch screens though.

Although busting through algebraic puzzles isn't my idea of relaxation I enjoy this little brain train game. My primary criticism is the advertisement bar, not too "relaxing". The ad does not go away which can be distracting when 6x7=?-2 and the "wonga" grandma is frowning at me.
