Recycle: una golena da salvare

Questo gioco educativo ambientato nella zona golenale del comune di Ro ( Ferrara ), è parte di un progetto didattico per divulgare l'importanza della raccolta differenziata e l'educazione al rispetto ambientale.

“10 anni or sono o poco più, l’area golenale di Ro assomigliava ad una discarica a cielo aperto.

La gente depositava qui vari tipologie di rifiuti … Non era raro trovarvi elettrodomestici, sacchi dell’immondizia, pneumatici usati … E tutto questo, oltre ad essere nocivo, deturpava in modo pesante il bellissimo paesaggio circostante.

Il nostro Grande Fiume e le sue rive non meritavano un tale trattamento.

Ecco perché è nata l’idea di fare rinascere questa zona del nostro territorio: per far sì che adulti e bambini potessero vivere assieme l’opportunità di un’area nuova, riqualificata, senza più rifiuti, ma al contrario, ricca di verde e tranquillità.

L’impegno dell’Amministrazione Comunale è stato quello di unire una bella storia, scritta da un grande scrittore, che si chiama Riccardo Bacchelli, alla costruzione del Mulino sul Po, un museo galleggiantea grandezza naturale sul fiume e di conseguenza costruire attorno ad esso un’oasi naturalistica attrezzata, che potesse unire l’ecologia alla cultura, l’ambiente alla storia del territorio roese e non solo.

Possiamo certamente affermare che oggi, quest’area è meta turistica per tantissime persone, italiani e stranieri.

Da ormai circa 10 anni intorno a Ro e al suo territorio si è sviluppata un tessuto turistico, che offre opportunità a tutta una rete di attività imprenditoriali, quali ristoranti, alberghi, bed&breakfast, negozi di vario genere.

Il Comune di Ro è inoltre attraversato da un itinerario turistico-ciclabile internazionale (inserito nel circuito Eurovelo), ormai molto conosciuto e gradito dagli escursionisti di tutta Europa, lungo più di 120 km e che si snoda da Stellata di Bondeno fino a Gorino, denominata Destra Po: in questo percorso, l’area golenale attrezzata (c’è anche un allaccio per le imbarcazioni e nel prossimo futuro, dato che è già in costruzione, uno scivolo per accompagnarle in fiume) e il Mulino sono entrati di diritto fra i luoghi in cui fermarsi e visitare .

Tutto ciò è stato permesso anche dalla consapevolezza e dalla volontà dei cittadini che hanno riconosciuto il valore di questa zona del territorio trasformata da area degradata a meta turistica, unendola però al capoluogo ed alle frazioni, ognuno dei quali ricchi di storia e di arte, oltre che di scorci naturalistici di prim’ordine.

Questo racconto, fatto per spiegare com’era fino a pochi anni fa la nostra golena e com’è invece oggi, fa capire anche quanto sia importante che tutti noi facciamo attenzione alla pulizia del nostro territorio, del posto in cui viviamo: mantenere i nostri paesi e le zone circostanti libere da rifiuti, fare la raccolta differenziata, sapere dove portare o chi chiamare per la raccolta dei rifiuti pericolosi o ingombranti, non sprecare l’acqua e il cibo, sono tutte cose facili da imparare e da fare, e serve a migliorare la nostra vita e quella delle persone a noi vicine.

Basta un po’ di attenzione e di pratica, poi tutto verrà naturale … Proprio come andare in bicicletta… Sulla pista ciclabile, mentre ammiriamo il Fiume Po."

"10 years ago or so, the flood plain of Ro looked like an open dump.

The people here filed various types of waste ... It was not uncommon to find appliances, garbage bags, used tires ... And all this, in addition to being harmful, so heavily disfigured the beautiful surrounding landscape.

Our Great River and its banks did not deserve such treatment.

That's why the idea was born to revive this area of ​​our territory so that adults and children could live together with the opportunity of a new area, redeveloped, no more waste, but on the contrary, full of greenery and tranquility .

The commitment of the City was to combine a good story, written by a great writer, which is called Bacchelli, the construction of the Mill on the Po, a museum galleggiantea size of the river and consequently build around it a 'natural oasis equipped, that could combine ecology and culture, the environment and the history of the area roese not alone.

We can certainly say that today, this area is a tourist destination for many people, Italians and foreigners.

For the past 10 years around Ro and its territory has developed a fabric tourist, offering opportunities to a whole network of businesses, such as restaurants, hotels, bed and breakfasts, shops of various kinds.

The City of Ro is also crossed by a tourist itinerary international bike (included in the circuit Eurovelo), now very well known and appreciated by hikers from all over Europe, more than 120 km long and runs from Starry Bondeno to Gorino, called Right Po: in this way, the floodplain area equipped (there is also a connection to the boats and in the near future, since it is already under construction, a slide to accompany them in the river) and the Mill entered law between places to stop and visit.

This was also allowed by the knowledge and the will of the citizens who have recognized the value of this area of ​​land transformed from a degraded area into a tourist destination, but uniting the capital and the villages, all of which are rich in history and art, as well as you naturalistic views of top notch.

This story, made to explain as it was until a few years ago, our floodplain and it is the case today, also makes it clear how important it is that we all do attention to the cleanliness of our land, the place where we live: to maintain our countries and the surrounding areas free from waste, make the collection, know where to take or who to call for the collection of hazardous waste or bulky, not to waste water and food, are all easy things to learn and do, and serves to improve our lives and those of people close to us.
