The game is cool and it's a unique way to educate consumers. The amount of mercury in a CFL bulb is a fraction of the amount of mercury contained in the coal that's converted into electricity for an incandescent bulb. CFL= less energy use, less fossil fuels burned, less SOx, NOx, etc. Your training doesn't make you a lighting expert. Check the facts before you denounce this game/app, otherwise it just makes you look like an imbecile & twonk.

As far as free apps go I can think of much worse ways to kill the time.

Look it up. It's the exact same game that ComEd has out. I think it's nice that energy companies are promoting information on energy conservation in fun ways.

I wish I could give zero stars. This game is promoting a lightbulb that requires you to have a permit to dump or pay someone to come and dispose of them for you. These bulbs have mercury in them and it is considered a hazardous substance which requires special disposal needs. So where is the savings now? The money you save in energy is eradicated by the disposal costs. You may end up having to pay more than that by the time you pay the disposal costs. Take it from a Firefighter/EMT-B IV. I have Haz-Mat certs up the wahzoo. You can NOT just throw these things in the trash. It will be a violation of health and safety codes.
